  1. I've put pretty much everything you've mentioned here in stockings. Lottery tickets are fun too. My kids like hot sauces and spicy seasoning. Lip balm, skincare, lottery tickets, tape, scissors, phone holder for car, SOX haha, gum, vitamins, jerky, coffee cards.

  2. I like A1 sauce.. However I buy my stocking stuffers first yes cause at the end of shopping I can't find anything. You need to call this Linda's favorite

  3. I usually get the stick of rock from the dollar tree for the top of my homemade toffee, but they don't have them this year, so I got the soft peppermint candy, but I had to hit it with a rolling pin to get it to crush, its snaps ok, but boy its not as soft as I expected (a brit in the USA)

  4. I got some candy canes this year at Trader Joe’s that have a soft chocolate filling! Can’t wait to try those.

  5. That’s exactly what my parents did with the hard candy. We also always got an orange and an apple

  6. Never done A-1. As my husband always says at a steak place that offers steak sauce.
What's wrong with the steaks? All good ideas. I am getting the gardening sleeves.
    Thanks for the ideas.

  7. I always received a lifesaver book in my stocking as a child. What a wonderful memory. We also always received a piece of fruit. We always thought the bigger the stocking, the more we would get. Funny how all 4 of us received the same things, size didn’t matter!

  8. You always come up with some cool things for stocking stuffer. I use to do it when my grandkids were small now with great grandkids I don’t. Just mine and hubs stockings we put up but they are both empty lol.

  9. Loved today’s show. I have an unrelated question. Since finding you some 4 months ago, I’ve tried so many things I’ve never done based on watching your favorite things. Never had a candle in my life in my home. I’m a thrifter so I bought candle sticks and even candles at my haunts around Fairfax, Va. Love them and every night it’s my happy time. Took me a couple times to realize I can’t blow out the match too close to the candle I just lite. LOL! So question is: I’ve been burning the candles until they are about 4 inches from the candle stick holder and then I stop and throw them away. What is your practice?

  10. We ALWAYS got mixed nuts in the shell, a giant bag of M & Ms, Tootsie rolls in a can that was a coin bank, those coins wrapped in gold mesh bag, and tangerines. She might put a new toothbrush or some other candies. Thanks for showing the cool new stocking stuffer stuff, especially the toothpaste things.

  11. My daughter is getting A1 in her stocking also, mine keeps disappearing when she visits . Just showed my husband that you also are gifting it, we laughed…enjoy watching from Northern Maine.

  12. I often purchase little tubes of handcream and holiday favored chapsticks from the Avon lady. I always got oranges from a neighbor's tree and Hersey's kisses. Love the show. Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy 2023 to all!

  13. Ghirardelli’s chocolate squares, especially the peppermint bark. My family likes teas, hot chocolate and sample bags of coffee. Also good are cosmetic squares, lip balm, smaller sizes of lotions and food gift cards.
You are thinking of those felt stockings our moms made and yes, I recall the sticky candy that picked up the fuzz! We always received the gold foil covered chocolate coins in a little mesh bags.

  14. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if you did a guest-room tour, showing how you ready for guests and what you might put in your “guest basket?” I thought that last years stocking stuffer video was my favorite, but you have topped yourself; well-done!

  15. My mothers family were born and raised on Maui,in Hawaii and came to California in the 40s after the war. My mom brought her family tradition of oranges and mixed nuts in shells for our stockings. There were never gifts, just food. Then in the 50s ,when we were little we would all get that tacky little red mesh candy filled stocking from the grocery store. We were in heaven!!! haha

  16. One of my grown sons is going to find a deviled egg tree ornament in his stocking this year…I swear, he thinks they’re a food group all on their own!!

  17. Dear Linda you are looking very heathy and your hair is behaving It looks great Have a wonderful Christmas Season Love to you and Stewart Sue Sue and Matt
