  1. Tin miners ate pasties. Traditionally ethereal is a thick pastry handle on the curve of the pasty. The miner would only touch the thick pastry area because their hands were contaminated with the mineral that they were mining. 😊

  2. For the hot water dough, boil the water and lard in a pan. I think the boiling mixture cooks the flour and thickens it.

  3. Like I said before,
" Becky's nesting is her cooking" Most clean house, prep for baby( of course rooms are coming along)..Or nothing at all…
Cook on my Dear new mom..Josh & you will need to eat.. Somtimes new parents are overwhelmed..👶.❤🎄🔥☃️❄💗

  4. Hi Becky, I love all those yummy meals that you made today. This is so smart of you to do before the baby comes. Once the baby comes you will want to drink in every second of baby time. You will be focused of caring for & lovin on your baby. You will need to rest & sleep when the baby sleeps. Until you get into a routine with the little one ,meal making will be on the back burner. Until next time take care.❤

  5. I must add, you mentioned before you have IC…well your IC must be very well controlled or healed considering all the spicey foods you eat! I have just a little spice and my IC flairs up!

  6. i don't know where your energy comes from! whew, i need a nap just from watching and i want some pumpkin curry right now! lol

  7. You could have slipped the butter in one of your vent slits of your pasties that you forgot to put it in.

  8. Wow you got to 39 wks seems like overnight. You’re probably in labor right now as we are watching you cook all this!!!

  9. Hey hun enjoying your show great thinking you should do up some milder spiced food if breastfeeding for baby’s tummy at first some are super sensitive to spice at first just a thought

  10. Hello beautiful Becky. I was wondering if you ever over salt things. I never get the salt and pepper right. I either salt too much or not enough. Same with pepper. I’m at the point of under seasoning. Please share your rule of thumb on this. Sometimes I’m amazed at how much salt you put in things. How is your baby doing??? You are going to be an amazing mommy. Xoxoxo

  11. Definitely made some inspiring meals today, thank you for sharing.
Regarding the eggwash, my mom uses cold coffee if she s out of eggs. I does not leave a coffee flavor, but it does help with the golden brown look.

  12. I'm so glad that you were able to get the freezer meals done before baby. It is going to be such a help to you. You are amazing!!! Pam- I'm sooo proud to see you using a timer! I think you'll find it really does make life easier 😌.

  13. This how I was with my first baby. I worked 12 hour days until my due date. My husband and I moved into a new place the day after my due date. My son was born 10 days late. I had so much energy during my first pregnancy and none during my second pregnancy!

  14. Thank you Becky fir sharing all of this information with us. I have been praying for you 3! Was so excited to see this pop up today! Am 5aking a break from painting in my kitchen to watch this! Much love and prayers from Middle Georgia. ❤️🙏❤️🙏

  15. The nesting phase…I was an absolute powerhouse, I'd got everything in the house washed, dried, ironed and put away, my cupboards were immaculate and when I found myself polishing my dustbin, I knew I'd done everything.

I hope you're all well, and that you're adjusting to parenthood – it's the greatest adventure ever. x

  16. Becky pregnant eating granola (she just made) is a whole mood! Lol I love it ❤ Waiting on that baby announcement!

  17. I have watched you in amazement over the last year or so! I know how much time it takes to PLAN these meals alone …and the hours you spend in the kitchen cooking them and cleaning up afterwards. PLUS…all the time you spend on the homestead growing these veggies and canning them and caring for the chickens too. Plus, I understand you work outside the home as well! I hope your husband realizes how valuable you are to your team. I wonder how you're going to do all this with a baby???!!! Don't kill yourself! Babies require so much time and attention! Hire some help once in a while to babysit so you can continue to prepare these kinds of meals for your growing family in the future. I guarantee there's going to be a learning curve in your future. Best wishes girl!

  18. Those lasagnas seem to be like what most nordic ppl do them. I love them. I am not to keen on the ricotta ones.

  19. I’m sitting home sick with Covid. Thank you so much for the video. I watch all your videos and was so happy to see it was over an hour. Took my mind off being sick. I want to go make these recipes once I’m well. Wish I would have thought to put freezer meals up before I had my son.

  20. Becky you’re such a trooper, time to put your feet up and enjoy the final days of pregnancy and first weeks as a family of three. Warm wishes from London, Great Britain.

  21. You don’t look like you’ve gained much with your baby. I learned the hard way what you put on must come off. You wido great in your after baby healing

  22. Hi Becky. Glad to have more recipes to try. I do my chicken or left over turkey lasagna with the béchamel sauce, yummy. Hope to see you 3 soon. 👶

  23. If I were to consult Webster's for a definition for "industrious," there would be a photo of you next to it!! Oh how I long to be physically able to do this again! Back in my early 20s when I cooked in a restaurant, I may have kept up with you! Now that I'm 62 with a plethora of health issues, not so much. Blessings and love to you n Josh n "?".

  24. Had to look up what a rudabager was, swede. Cornish Pasties in uk are normally made with shortcrust pastry but I like your hot crust. Lovely on a cold day working outside.

  25. Becky- I have really grown to really love how functional your kitchen is and your whole food setup. Want to see more of your chickens and the new outside areas. I am so happy for you that you found this wonderful space. Anxiously, happily awaiting baby arrival. Hugs to Josh and you.

  26. All this energy and ambition, baby will be here soon. I cleaned all the walls and ceilings in my home the week before my daughter was born and worked 50 hours. The baby will be here very soon I think.
