Front Yard Garden

Winter Snow – My English Garden – 2022

It’s sad but gently evokes the memories of this past glorious Summer and Autumn as the vegetation dies back to enrich the soil for regrowth next year.

The first frosts and snow of the Winter in my Zone 9a garden.
This week has been the coldest for two years with some light early snow.
Filmed on 10 December 2022. My English Garden is near the coast in North West England, 1/3 of an acre (including the house) Zone 9a with sandy soil.

Below are the links to the products and equipment I use in the garden. By using my Amazon affiliate links to make a purchase you really support my channel, which I appreciate greatly and it won’t affect the price you pay. Thank you.

  1. So beautiful. It snowing down here in the Black Country this morning. Its lovely waking up brightening up dull mornings.

  2. Thank you Paul, my wife and I enjoyed this view of your winter garden with our morning coffee. Merry Christmas and Happy healthy New Year. Would love to see more of your garden wildlife.

  3. Oh Paul what a Winter Wonderland, but your poor plants, especially your exotics took quite a hit. This was us a week ago with overnight temps plummeting to a low of -10c A bit nippy but it didn't linger thank goodness. I made sure my hummingbirds and flickers were well stocked up with nectar and suet in their feeders. Some oats and apples for the deer. Very best wishes to you and your family this festive season. Joyeux Noël! 🎄🎅☃️

  4. Looking very 🇨🇦 my friend..
Fresh snow always looks so beautiful.. especially in a beautiful garden. I am sure your tropicals don't agree with me.
    Pond looks great
    Merry Christmas my friend

  5. A living Christmas greeting of peace and tranquility. Wishing all the same the world over. Thank you Paul T.!

  6. Nice video. What percent of all those tropicals will you have to replace? Bananas, etc wont survive that right?

  7. As much as i love spring / summer. I think snow in the garden is my favourite time. Thank you for this lovely video paul. We are going through a very cold snap too x🇮🇪❄️

  8. My garden is the same Paul … living near the coast in the NW on the wirral … is there anything in your garden do you think that wont survive? …. eg the hydrangea and azalea?

  9. Wishing you the best Christmas season, Paul! Thank you for sharing your beautiful garden throughout the year with us.
