In the fall, Danny planted broadleaf mustard greens as a cover crop in the front garden. This is also a way to combat root nematodes. PLUS, these mustard greens are edible.

Putting a tarp over the whole bed right after you till it will also significantly increase the effects of the Biofumagants by trapping the gases in the soil as the mustard is breaking down! You could pull it off as soon as two weeks or longer, depending on how soon you want to plant!
Danny, I met a 90 year old farmer who lives in Arcadia Florida. He has a 1965 Farmall, and he says that he has ALL the attachments. He also says that the Farmall is why he can still farm.
Doesn't the Bible says work your land 7 yrs then rest one? I don't remember the verse but bet you do.

I have not gotten through all the comments but I was wondering what kind of rear tine tiller do you have and use? My brother and I are looking to get one and share it and I would like to pick your brain on what you like and don't like or what you would suggest or stay away from in a tiller?
The tractor he has is a Farmall 300 and I'm looking at getting a Farmall 684 so that would be the horse power we are dealing with.
