Two people waisted 5 minutes and 19 seconds of their lives, Just to peacock their moral superiority… and failed🤣
How much to come down to FL and maintain my lawn? 😅
I wonder why I like watching your content
I think it's just relaxing somehow lol
What I want to know is how to grow native plants in your yard. You did a wonderful job though.
About the only time I'd recommend sod is with St. Augustine, and even then you need a good soil base. When I was a kid someone talked my dad into putting down sandy loam and sod on top, and that was such a bad idea! It took 20 years for the sod to get a good root in, and before it had you couldn't set foot on the lawn if it was wet or the sod would just slip out from under you.
Looks awesome! Love all your video's and content. Thank you so much for sharing, and "welcome to NH!
Amazing transformation!
come on now a lot of that new seed never grew because you didn't detach the years of junk in that lawn
you should add a few trees to the yard
Bro’s over here trying to make his grass grow and I’m trying to kill mine.
Great video. My lawn's much, much smaller, so (I hate chemicals), I cut it short in the spring and then used a mower blade with vertical tines on it because most of the weeds were broadleaf. It took out 90% of the weeds and the new grass did the rest.
Reason why my lawn isnt growing well, three dogs…
After getting bitten by a tick, developing the bullseye of Lyme disease, and having to take weeks of antibiotics… I can appreciate the effort you put forth to protect your kids and allow them to enjoy the outdoors safely near your home.
Most impressive thing about this project? …. getting the wife to admit she was wrong
This video is exactly what I needed ! I do have one question how does this procedure effect wildlife I mean I don't want to kill off squirrels or birds and for sure not the neighbors cat ?
Please grow native plants and encourage local wildlife and pollinators now
I'm glad you broke each step down as to how you rehabbed and transformed your lawn. I find it crazy that the sellers left potentially 100K on the table when they sold the place . If more people were as dedicated to their lawn as you are to yours , alot of lawn care businesses probably wouldn't exist .
Beautiful property
You started Mowing and Clean Up in the Summer, June.
You applied weed and feed in the Summer, July.
You applied Tenacity in the Summer, Late July.
So all the prep was on or about the "Dog Days of Summer", when it was the hottest.
Then Aeration and Overseeding in September. Then you watered the lawn consistently, and did not mow for 4-6 weeks.
That means at 3:10, your results section of the video, that must have been around the first half to middle October.
All told, the transformation took about 5-6 months. Very helpful and insightful video! Thanks!
Thanks for the videos! My neighbor refuses to properly drain his grass which sits lower than my adjoining property and grass so the root cause of the kyllinga is not addressed and is taking over my front lawn. The neigbor's lawn service sprays 'Celero' to treat the kyllinga which is harder to control than nutsedge but it seems somewhat expensive and tricky to come by. Have you ever tried Tenacity kyllinga and nutsedge?Though tenacity states it handles these two weeds I believe and have heard Tenacity doesn't really work that well on them.
Came out awesome! I used JG Black Beauty this fall for my overseed and it made a massive difference. Excited to see how it copes with summer next year. Question though… I know the 1/3rd rule when mowing, but when you cut really tall grass like this, do you need to follow that and just make several passes or can you just do one large rough cut and then trim down from there?
What is a good product for poa annua control
That's a nice place, looks fantastic all round. Where I am a property like that would be astronomical even in pre-manicured form.
Is that Granuel weed control a systemic or is it topical as in the Turf has to be wet before you put it down
Great transformation Silver. Should have bet your wife $100K 😂
The MA house was amazing but I really like your new home in NH. The home is beautiful with tons of potential and the property is absolutely awesome! Congratulation to you and your family.
I really enjoy the Silver Cymbal channel!
Get a vision, set up a plan, and stick to the plan.
Hello, love your vids, been with you for several years now! I have clumping fescue in my newly purchased lawn in Ohio. Can I kill it using these steps? I want to dethatch, and aerate, reseed. Just want to know if I should kill it and start over? Clumping fescue is hard to get out. Trying for turf type tall fescue on a reseed. Thank you for all you are doing for us.
This fall i noticed a lot of bright green Patches of grass came up all over. Wasn’t there during early fall and makes the lush green grass I had look bad now. Any suggestions on how to prevent this in the fall from coming up? Not sure if it’s poa annua or triv could be an annual blue grass maybe. 😢
Clover is better. More eco friendly.
Been watching your videos for a while now, going to tackle my backyard starting in the spring. I'm in the Pacific Northwest. Going to use the same process and hope for similar results.
Can you post a short video of your yearly fertilizer regiment?
Thanks for all your content. You're one of only three channels I follow on YouTube. Definitely worth it
Wait, this isn’t your main channel?!
What do you think about all these cheaper Tenacity competitors available online? Torocity, Meso, etc? Would any other product with the same active ingredients work the same?
where is this located?
Super video
Great job as always, well done:)
Gives you hope for all lawns! 👍
Love that Property ! Wintertime sitting in that enclosed room is probably amazing .
