  1. I’m in the middle of making a pallet green house….but will use these tips in between getting it up.
Thank you for all the info! This was awesome

  2. Well, Jeff.. I started reclaiming my soil, last year. Right now, I have a huge pile that I have been feeding for a few months. Just giving the native worms all the veggie scraps, and some egg shells and the weekly coffee grounds. I think they are overweight. 😆😆We have so many oak trees that they add the brown material all by themselves. As far as winter chores..🤔🤔 Today, I was out picking army worms off of one of my tomato plants. They are not eating the plants, they just seem to be living on the leaves and they did get 2 of my green tomatoes. Well, were— they got evicted! We were told today, they we might get a cold snap next Thursday and could see 40..YAY.. 😆We enjoy our 2 or 3 days of cold weather. Anyway, good video! Thanks for the tips from the Sunshine state.

  3. Great video, the only left standing in my garden in zone 5A is Dino Kale. All beds top dressed with compost and leaves and grass clippings from fall cleanup. Missed the window for a cover crop. Glad to take a rest.

  4. Jeff, I took notes and pinned them up to remind me. Now I better oil up my snow shovel. Good advice, thank you.

  5. This was great! I have been seed sorting! It is a good problem to have! Another plan for early cold spring is to put up the full sized chicken run around the gardens and let them weed for us. There will be a double gate to get into it that will block them off when we need to work the garden. I am such a nerd I have full written plans. We repurpose things in the process so it doesn't always end up the exact same as the plan but God willing it ends up better. Have a great night!

  6. Great quickie as always Jeff, thank you for ur hard work every day and making us up date in our daily gardening. 👩‍🌾👍👍🥰🙏🏻

  7. Hello Jeff! I am jonesing to get to my seed organizing. I've put together a spreadsheet and categorized it by veg, fruit, flower with year of purchase, root depth, result once used, and other useful stuff. Other garden tasks FIRST but when the real snow hits? To the computer! I got some cool stuff I can't wait to try. Ninestar broccoli, kalette (sorta like kale brussel sprouts), black chickpeas made for planting in my Montréal climate. Woohoo! Ciao4nao my Garden Brother 😁

  8. I miss my garden so much lol. Winter is hard. It's almost like you mourn the loss of your plants from summer. I can't wait to get to work in the spring. Thank you for tasks to stay involved year round. You're the best! ❤️
