This week went way to quickly , amazing lights, driving in the snow , road trips with awesome soundtracks ( copyright prevents me using the music we listened to…boohoo ! ) Standing at the edge of a Fjord in the pitch back with not a sound to be heard , listening to the ice flows heading down stream …truly a week I’ll never forget .
Normal service will be resumed next week but don’t deny me these past 2 weeks of self indulgence .We all need good memories to see us through the rocky times …..& give us the impetus to keep going with a plan to return…

Lovely selection of images Lynne and Im sure the short break will have done you the power of good and can understand why you want to go back. Sometimes places become like a magnet and that pull becomes irresistible. Looking like we will get our own snow in various places so I guess we can declare the winter season is upon us

Perfect spot to reset and recharge … and those brilliant snaps are just icing on the cake! Question: When snapping with a 10 stop for example, does the camera's metering system give you the optimal exposure duration or is this more of a trial and error process? I think you had a 170 second exposure … not sure if my camera can meter that. Thanks.
Firstly thank you Lynne for having us along on your holiday, that was very generous. It looked absolutely breathtaking. What a place to rewind and get your batteries recharged. Beautiful images and to see reindeer – wow! I hope you treasure these wonderful memories for years. I'm back to work on Monday (8 weeks off) and now to top it off I've got a blasted cold (I've not been anywhere!) not looking forward to getting up at 0430 hrs! take care Lynne
Great video Lynne, I love the way the you caught the spiral of the lights coming off the top of tower and the way the stairs follow through the pattern.👍😎
What a wonderful spot to get your mojo back, even a non vlog was a fine video 😂. Loved the final image (of course) and the little snow covered grasses was so pretty too. I have to agree that just watching the ice flow down the river was just so surreal and serene.
