We are happy with our tests so far over the past few years so we are adding new methods to get this winter garden even better!
Sandy Bottom Homestead was started to supplement our food supply. By Gardening and raising chickens we have been able to meet that goal and start to surpass it. Follow us as we continue to build out our homestead and become better gardeners.

Is there anything else you use in your winter garden for better growth?
Have you tried worm tea? I haven't used it but it's meant to be great for healthy plants and better harvests. How often do you add your amendments? Do you have a schedule or do you just add when your plants look like they need it?
