  1. My suggestion for barn colour is a dark grey but not black. Fading is definitely going to be an issue.
    Huge love ❤️ from Canada.

  2. I think you should pick your favorite colors. If it were mine, I'd do blue or brown since those are my favorite colors. I'd have red trim as that's Lee's favorite color. Not sure what our son Daniel's favorite color is as he graduates to many different ones and is mostly nonverbal.

  3. FYI: Why are traditional barns painted red? Rust was plentiful on farms and because it killed fungi and mosses that might grow on barns, and it was very effective as a sealant. It turned the mixture red in color. When paint became more available, many people chose red paint for their barns in honor of tradition.

  4. If you could buy a quality red paint that shouldn't fade, that would be better. Red metal roof is better. Trim out in white.

  5. You can paint it my ga red but you might want crimson , ala. Color, crimson and black accent……go dawgs, sorry

  6. I think the red barn would be beautiful! Red gets my vote! I can’t wait to see it. Gray would be my second vote.

  7. The barn,…..,White to match your house. And make your property a grand homestead.
White won't fade out so bad.

  8. Brick red barn. Faded is beautiful. The sun is going to fade any color. Paint the barn a color where you actually like it when it is faded. A blue red will fade differently than an orange red as an example. Speaking as an artist, embrace the fade.

  9. A grey barn would look great because it can give an antique look when it does fade. However, if your heart is set on red, I would do a dark red, such as a garnet color. You should not get a pink barn if you do a dark enough red.

  10. I like the idea of a darker color (either a dark gray or deep forest green) with the white trim.
