  1. This just hit me hard. I discovered him this year and I really enjoyed his channel. I will have to do the same this upcoming spring to plant something in his honor.

  2. Oh no! I hadn’t heard. Thank you for sharing. I LOVED watching his videos! I learned so much from him! Right off the bat his series on growing onions comes to mind. Maybe I’ll plant some transplants if it’s not too late and they’re available. I’m going to miss him❤️

  3. Thank you for posting this. I was curious why he hadn’t posted anything lately. I was going through his videos just last night. Today I searched for using hay as mulch and your video came up as a choice. Being in TX myself I was eager to watch your video. Then I subscribed and went to see more of your videos and saw this about OAG. I probably never would have know. God works in mysterious ways. I will definitely plant something in his memory. What a loss here but a gain in heaven!

  4. So sad i was new to watching him n thought he was great. I know he shared his health issues a long time ago on a video i saw recently digging through. Does anyone know how he passed. I was looking forward to his next video n didnt say he was sick. I pray it was peaceful n in his sleep. I pray for his family. I will miss him n i just started watching him. So sweet.
    John 3:16 KJV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This also is a sweet video. Thank you all.

  5. In Loving Memory of OAG ….I visited my daughter in Alabama last week and bought some purple bean or pea seeds from Aldridge Gardens. I will plant them in his memory this Spring💜

  6. It's hard to believe he's gone. I plan on getting in my chair and watching, writing out recipes and remedies from his channel.

I will be planting something to honor him! GOD bless

  7. His death devastated me. He was an amazing soul. Unfortunately I do not have the garden space or the resources to plant anything – but I have been making his recipes and calling them ‘old Alabama gardener’ recipes. I also plan to pass on what he taught me and link everyone to his videos for references 💚

  8. Beautiful idea. I planted garlic from a dear friend’s garden who passed away in August. I look forward to making garlic honey with that with honey from our own bees. Thank you, Alabama Gardner. A beautiful soul.

  9. That’s a beautiful idea. I planted garlic from a dear friend’s garden who passed away in August. I plan to make garlic honey with it when it matures with honey from our own bees. God bless the old Alabama Gardner.🙏🧄

  10. Great guy! I talked to him, via YouTube, right before his 80th birthday. Such a kind soul and a wealth of knowledge.
