  1. Keeping peppers over winter
I do recommend cutting them back quite severely when you pot them up

I tried leaving them quite large and leafy but they get very susceptible to lice etc

When you cut them back drastically, i never had a problem

  2. A video about your favorite perennials would be great! Also, your favorite winger crops!

  3. We are in Alberta, and cannot find cattle panels. Where did you find yours? Thanks for this list of plants, I had not heard of so many of them. We are in zone 4a. ❤

  4. Where did you find the Dunja zucchini?
My favorite tomatoes to grow are Black Prince and Cherokee Purple. I did so good with peppers this year, the poblano are producing like crazy and will probably continue until the end of October.
I sent you a DM on IG about the seeds BTW. Thanks for offering to sell some!

  5. Ground cherries I grew this year not my favorite hard to find ripe ones which are good ,but forgot trying some yellow ones not ripe they poisoned me ,it's same as eating green on potatoes , had upset stomach got dizzy when I got up listed to the right took a day to get over it . An they take a lot of room for what they produce

  6. You are so adorable! Been watching you for a few years and I don’t think I’ve ever commented. I’m just amazed by your gardening! Love to see you’re enthusiasm and energy. Great videos and looking forward to more! 💕

  7. Totally loved this video. Thanks for all the recommendations, will check out your instagram to see what you will pick to sell. The one item that I find that I cannot do without in my garden is "Komatsuna", Old Tokyo from Bakers Creek. It is a green that despite the 110 degree weather here in Texas, produced when others failed. You can eat it raw in salads , or cooked in soups or stews. Mild and fresh tasting, and vitamin packed.

  8. Loved this video! Grew my very first edible plants on my balcony this year 🙂 wonder if I can manage the lemon cucumbers next year

  9. Love your suggestions and anything you found powdery mildew resistant. Perennials vlog would be good.

  10. I grew ground cherries last year. They produced many fruits and plants got big…but the fruits were mostly green when they fell off the plant, and never ripened. Do you know what causes this? I didn't get any edible harvest b/c of this.

  11. I save my own sunrise bumblebee tomato seeds too! They’re so resilient here (zone 5b Colorado) and they’re delicious!

  12. Tomatoes : Dr wyche, Paul Robeson, pink bumblebee. Try growing rampicante squash up a trellis. It is magical and resistant to disease and massively productive. For cucumbers LOVE Beit ALpha from bakers creek.

  13. I would love more ideas about what to plant, especially the plants resistant to powdery mildew. It kills my plants every year. And I love the idea of you selling seeds. 🙂 I would be happy to support you

  14. What is your average humidity there? I live in coastal South Carolina and I have such a hot, humid summer. I wouldn’t have known your climate is similar

  15. Could you do a video on how to save seeds? And how you prevent cross pollination when growing so many varieties

  16. Brilliant video! I'd be interested in seeing a similar video but for your favourite herb varieties! 🌿💚

  17. Hi there, would these plants/seeds work well in bc. Central Vancouver Island. Hot hot summers. Port of call. Called the Wet Coast. I think zone 7 maybe. Love your vids. 🙏🏼🇨🇦🌊🧙🏼‍♀️🛶🐍🐉🍁🌸

  18. I love your passion coming through your videos. It's such a positive influence. Thank you also for all the info!!

  19. Love this type of video, and I could watch your favourite 15000 plants to grow in the garden. As it is, I'll just re-watch this one 🙂

  20. About rhubarb – I got 2 crowns from Canadian Tire end of season sale, one was viable! I also got asparagus crowns and onion bulbils (white, yellow and red). The onions will be harvested as green onions, because there's not enough time for them to grow – but what a deal – each of those were $1!
I did start from seed (about a thousand types of plants) – with very limited success. Still learning.

  21. And where, on earth, did you get a Cossack ground cherry from? I've only ever found Aunt Molly and Peruvian.

  22. This year has been the first year that I successfully grown ground cherry plants 🙂 Partial shade both, because that's what I have to work with. The one with a bit more sun remained stunted – about 1', but produced flowers and now it has fruit that takes forever to fall on the ground. The other one struggled for some time, but then took off like a rocket. It is now a small bush, over 3', and thinking about producing flowers.
Moving on from the "producing" point of view, I find this fascinating. It's like they tell a story, with ups and downs, betrayals, survival, conquering obstacles, root exudates, bacteria, nematodes, earthworms, soil composition, insect population.
