We hope you enjoy this Wednesday Walkabout from two years ago, which has been nestled in our archives just waiting to be posted. We know it’s a flashback, but we thought you would enjoy seeing how the garden looked then compared to now, and maybe even pick up a few plants from the Southern Living Plant Collection featured in this video which are still growing strong, and for sale!
From two years ago…Merry Christmas!

I live in the mts & the foliage in town & over the mts is absolutely beautiful this year. Hot weather in fall brings all the leaves down very quickly but the cold fall keeps them on longer. The Chinese pistache, gingko, pear & raywood ash are also spectacular. Life's simple pleasures. The barberi in my yard & the smoke tree are on fire with color as well. The wild grape is golden & winds through the surrounding foliage. Drive around & check it out. We also have the honkers flying overhead. Simple pleasures. BEAUTIFUL. 🙏
Your garden is lovely
Thank you for sharing with us. Happy holidays to you & Stewart. So glad you share your enthusiasm.
Oh!
Nevermind for now,the Cotoneaster, the buberriy, the hydrangea,I must speak about your fur collar.
It frames you.
A warm collar that dances with your warm smile.
You become poetry, you just know how to make that happen.
❤️
Linda I don’t think I’ve missed one of your videos.. what ice storm?
Linda, your 2020 Winter Garden is beautifully clothed in color.
Remember when I told you Linda that sometimes bad happenings, like weather, gives us a chance to try new things. Especially when you had more sun in your front yard due to losing branches. Linda, you work magic in your garden.
It is so windy and cold here today!
What a spectacular winter garden! My garden never has that kind of color in December. I have to put up multi colored lights to get that effect. But your 2020 garden didnt need that. I say you have a split screen walking the same path so we can see what you pulled out and what you left 2years later. Thank you😊 for showing us this footage.
WOW! I certainly remember the garden and potager looking like this.
Through all of the changes, both intentional and unintentional, I really love it now!
Great coat too.
One word-Beautiful
Looks amazing for dec
Merry Christmas!!!!!❤
I remembered this is Wednesday 🎄walk in garden 🌳🌸 still this is ❄️lovely winter garden 🌳🌳
Great content for a Throwback Thursday . It's nice to revisit the frames of this ever evolving garden.
Seems like yesterday. It’s taken some time for our gardens to recover and get back to some sort of normal.
Lovely winter color. Thanks for the flashback.
I can't remember are you zone 6 or 7??
Your nandinas and barberries are gorgeous, especially the barberry, I mean wow! Mine are a nightmare. Nandina (Heavenly bamboo) intertwined with barberry (mine is more of a pretty red wine color) but ALL of it is a tangled mess. And the nandina is popping up through the roots of my knockout roses and everything else. It is crazy. I like how you say not to let the garden thugs boss you around. LOL I will win this one day by having ALL of it pulled up, poison the roots, then plant some NJ tea. 🏵️
Did you have a recent ice storm?
This who I expect
The back yard looks beautiful, a blessing after all the destruction from the ice storm. Glad you found this video and showed it to us!
