  1. Happy Christmas to you and your family. Very glad for the gentle reminder that Christmas is a season of giving. Remember every little bit will make a difference in someone’s life. I was always taught and live by the thought, “there, but by the grace of God goes I”. It helps to put things in perspective and to be grateful for all blessings.

  2. Thank you very much Sophie for all your videos and tips on interior design, you have an amazing eye for detail that it’s helped me to learn so much from you, and actually grew fond of this career. I also appreciate Ollie’s hard work in making these videos “educational” and how he displays examples of your creativity in your projects. Thank you for all your work 😍

  3. I respect how you appreciate how privileged you are and how you always consider those with less means. Beautiful video as always ❤️

  4. Beautifully done, as always, Sophie, especially your charity segment. Your tact, diplomacy and care landed your point perfectly.
Merry Christmas to you all ❤️🎄

  5. Everything about this was just amazing. Thank you for allowing us into your home.

  6. You are such an amazing, compassionate, empathetic and considerate woman. This video made me emotional when you were talking about D.Abuse survivers. Thank you so much for thinking about them and keeping them in your thoughts and prayers and doing all you can to help and support them. Speaks volumes about your kind heart. Thank you so much for shining a light on these platforms. Definitely helped raise awareness about them. Thank you so much for highlighting that Christmas doesn't have to be all materialistic. It's the heart and thought amd quality time that counts. Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️ ♥️ 💕 💗 . Pass on my get well soon to Mr. P 😊.

  7. What a Beautiful and kind video, So encouraging. You seem to truly understand people struggle in all walks of life and I feel it's our duty to help one another as much as we can! Thank you and God Bless!

  8. That tennis bracelet though !! I would love to see your jewelry collection !

  9. You had me laughing when you said “don’t follow my channel then” regarding the christmas decor in Ava’s room and then had me tearing up when you got upset about the charity ❤️❤️❤️xxxxxx

  10. Excellent content. As always it is such as treat to listen to your vlog, advice, vision.. your are inspiring.. i adore the cashmere Robe And slippers xxx picture frames are on my wishlist xx

  11. Me too Sophie, looking forward to that beautiful time of year when everyone's busy celebrating and I get to truly disconnect from work. Your videos are so enjoyable…your vibe + on-screen personality are wonderful…and you seem to be completely & unapologetically yourself (indeed, haters should not be coming to this channel and criticizing you for wanting matching decor, down to the xmas ornaments…with you 100%). I have so enjoyed your videos since I discovered them this year. Finally having my own place…my own little piece of paradise…I've been more than a little obsessed with home decor videos and the like, so thank you for the inspiration. A very happy December to you and yours.

  12. We had that bug last week too- it seems to have gone round all the primary schools in Berkshire…poor Mr P!…I’ve given the kids a mini tree to decorate, and now trying to stop my eye twitching every time I catch a glimpse of it. They have given the tree paper eyes and tinsel arms.

  13. Beautiful arrangements Sophie especially whilst you’re talking and not really focusing on the arrangements. Well done!

  14. Oh I was so happy to see your chinosserie Blue and white. I've started collecting odds and ends as I can afford. Next purchase is a ceramic stool.

  15. I love your charitable nature and kind heartedness Sophie. It’s so lovely you are encouraging your children to be so too. My lovely neighbours (our 4 households) are not gifting to each other this year. I have suggested a homeless charity and animal charity have our gift money instead. I hope it will become a Christmas tradition for our little neighbourhood group. This year it felt the right time to make that change. Loved the tour (as always!) Have a lovely weekend kbgardensnhomes 🤍🎄✨K xxx

  16. Sophie, you are so grounded (down to earth) and everything you touch looks beautiful. Your voice is so soothing and caring that I could listen to you endlessly.

  17. My most memorable Xmas present as a small child was my own jar of Vaseline. It made my lips shiny and seemed so large to be all mine. Kind gifts to those in need are appreciated more than most can imagine.

  18. What a beautiful video, full of Christmas spirit, your warmth makes it all even more special, and such a good reminder of what this season is all about, we go every year to see the neighbourhood lights with a flask of hot chocolate in the car, you can't buy those special moments and they're the ones that'll warm you with the memories in the future🥰🎄

  19. What a beautiful and heartfelt video. Thank you so much for going through all the various charities. Your home is gorgeous with all the wonderful Christmas decorations.

  20. Recent subscriber here from the US. This was a beautiful video – thank you for promoting charity. Merry Christmas.

  21. The wealth in your company never removed your humanity and kind heart and I respect you more for that. I love your work and style so much, but the way you treat your employees, and the way you think other people's needs make me respect you more and more. Rest assured that we will give too to our communities in our own capacity. Lots of love from the Philippines!

  22. Sophie you have such talent but its your sensitive and beautiful heart that is truly what makes you special. Hearing about your support of charities and your sharing of the importance of giving if one can was wonderful to hear. this was an awesome video with a special reminder that the really important things are not based on spending money. Well done. Merry Christmas. Mar

  23. Thank you Sophie for sharing with us the incredible charities you’re associated with. Even purchasing charity seasonal cards is a good way to support them. We ave Smith Family here in Australia, and similar women’s support refuges to those in England. Whenever children are affected, it brings tears to my eyes as well. We do a ‘Care Package Collection’ through my Grammar School here in Brisbane every year to help families experiencing hardship; it’s wonderful to see how many caring people there are as well. Merry Christmas 🎄

  24. You are such a beautiful human being inside out ❤
It’s always So calming to watch your videos ❤

  25. Sophie I share your name and your passion for a Interior design I look at your videos regularly and I’m so inspired by everything from your own home to your impeccable taste with Design. I love your manner and attitude and the way you involve your family! Your Christmas ideas are fabulous. In my past life I was a multidisciplinary interior designer but I really really want to focus now on residential design. I would completely appreciate any advice you can give particularly as my prior focus was predominantly offices before having a career break to set up my own company to teach children art and I worry my diversion may be seen as a negative. Any guidance you can give me would be so appreciated. I realise this could be last chance to really strive for what I want so I am happy to start from the beginning if necessary.

  26. A stunning video Sophie on so many levels. Your style is serene and seems effortless, but clearly every detail is well thought through. I very much appreciate your gift guide and to have such amazing charities brought to my attention. You have a good heart and it comes through in your videos. Bless you. X

  27. The cashmere robe had no place for me to add the cozifirst 10 code. Beautiful video focused on the less fortunate, such a wonderful cause, thank you

  28. Beautiful and inspirational episode.
For Christmas, I wish God blessings for us all and a glorious 2023.
Thank you for sharing not only ideas but your heart with the world.
Lots of love to all Sophie Paterson team

  29. every night before bed..i take a nice long hot bath..then right before i climb in the bed to relax..the lights are low and warm..and i spray a lil scent…i have a few..around the room. it makes me feel good about creating this ritual for myself before bed. ❤

  30. i love real xmas trimmings but the cleanup ugh…so the artificial are much easier to maintain.

  31. About those "life skills"…It makes absolutely NO difference WHAT you teach your children. If you are a fisherman, teach them how to fish, if you like flower arranging, teach them to arrange flowers. First, you are establishing yourself irrevocably in their minds as experts on adulting (which is far more complex than knowing how to balance one's check book). Second, you are interacting with them. The children are not only learning the subject, they are learning the art of learning. The kids are getting opportunities to develop their own interests. Some will stick, some will be life-long passions. You never know. Just keep teaching them and letting them learn and experiment at their own pace and in their own way. So, well done, Sophie!

  32. Thank you, you’re always full of wisdom, great ideas. Really enjoyed this especially the charity support ideas, well done

  33. This video warmed my heart and soul. The charities you support and mentioned throughout this video, so close to your heart. You are a wonderfull interior designer but above, dear Sophie, you are an amazing person!!

  34. Just relaxing to seeing how beautifully decorated your home is. Totally agree that we should treasure our Christmas ornaments and not change them. Each one brings so many beautiful memories . Hope your husband is feeling better soon. Enjoy your well deserved time off and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year❤️🎄🙏

  35. Sophie u r such an authentic elegant special person. Since u r so sensitive about poor people or immigrants just so exceptional. U made speechless. I like your silence & attitude your kids r so lucky. God bless u 🌹

  36. Love that you don't feel the need to re-theme your tree every year. When I moved from New England to south Florida, I didn't like how my northern ornaments looked against a background of bright green and palm trees just outside the sliding doors. My solution was to buy sequined aqua ribbon and drape it around the tree with the ornaments I already had. Problem solved for the price of ribbon.

  37. Sophie, what a lovely video. Such a welcome counterpoint to mindless holiday consumerism. I feel recalibrated!

  38. Thank you for the video. Can you please share the brand and model of the fireplace in the background? Is it Derby Bellfires, by any chance?
