Front Yard Garden

Terry's Back Yard

Terry’s passion was gardening. She absolutely loved it, and her yard loved her back in return. It truly made her happy and was therapy when adversity arose in her life.

She had a habit of removing anything that was dead in her garden. Dead flowers, weeds, yellow leaves, etc. She also would do this without thinking in anyone else’s yard. She had to remove it! it also took her an hour and a half to water her flowers and plants every other day. A labor of love to her.

For no particular reason, I took this video doing a wide sweep of her back yard to give viewers an idea of how fabulous her landscape was. In the spring she would buy new dirt, fertilize, plant new annuals for color, etc. She was in hog heaven. Her front yard was equally full of color and flowers, and people would drive by and stop to admire and enjoy her gorgeous, happy landscape.

Everyone who knew Terry loved her. She recently passed, and we all miss her. This video just makes me smile in remembrance of her back yard and green thumb. She used to buy cheap dying plants at Home Depot or Lowes and take them home to rescue them. She always brought them back to life to where they blossomed and thrived under her care. She was gifted. She is missed.
