💚 This polytunnel has surely been a game changer for our efforts to grow food for self sufficiency all year round, without supplemental heat or ventilation 🥰🫶.
👩🌾 With one year and 2 fall seasons of growing food in this space completed, I am confident to say we made the right choice for the needs we have – wanting to grow organically, pushing the limits on season extension and year round veg gardening and wanting to get the maximum outcome in veg production with a minimum of labor intensive effort 👌.
😃 This covered and easy to climate control growing space makes it possible to grow multiple rotations of vegetables in one year and on very little actual growing space (approximately 40 m2 bed space)👌
👩🌾 This summer alone I grew +400 kilos of heirloom tomatoes in the space, as well as citrus, peaches, melons, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, spring veggies and potatoes as well as a full winter garden with brassicas, greens and herbs.
