What Vegetable Plants grow in Late Fall? (Fall Backyard Garden Tour)

In this video I talk about what vegetable plants grow in late fall. I give a fall garden tour showing the plants that are thriving in my organic garden. The first plant that I talk about are my pineapple plants that were made from store bought pineapples. Those plants are kept indoors now because of the cold temperatures. Carrot plants are doing an amazing job growing in the raise bed. Sowing the seeds was easy to do and it proves to be very effective. The broccoli plants are also doing well during this time. The heads have not formed yet but they are on the way. Cabbage plants are doing well and the heads are starting to form. Identifying veggies in the garden is fun especially when I did not label all the plants. The cauliflower is hiding but as soon as the head forms I will know where they are. The collard greens are growing back faster because of the rain that came two days in a row. I also show how to harvest marigold seeds that will save money because you will never have to buy them again. This plant is great for companion planting which will help fight pest in the garden. They produce a pungent smell that bugs hate. Lastly I talk about harvest sugarcane that was cut a few days ago. The sugarcane can not stand the frost because the canes will go bad. Hopefully the Bear Brown Garden Tour will give motivation to Grow Something Tasty.

  1. I didn’t know that about marigolds but I was literally starting to make some notes about making more of a point to propagate flowers and saving seeds for things so I don’t spend so much money on things next year and this is a perfect start. I have a ton of marigolds to cut down and now I can use those seeds.

  2. I came over from someone else's channel, but a supporter. I do not have a channell!
I do grow inside and out!
