35 Different Types of Peppers Growing in Our Backyard Garden

This year, we have 35 different types of peppers growing in our backyard garden. There is a lot of variety represented too. We are growing anything from sweet peppers to super hot peppers. We have a couple of the hottest peppers in the world growing. As well as all the great peppers to eat, we have at least a half dozen ornamental peppers to add some color to the garden.
Let use know what type of peppers you’re growing.

  1. Good afternoon. I never knew there are so many varieties. When you say ornamental is that edible.
This week I had a surprise. I have lots and lots of pole beans. Yes.
I also did an inspection on my leaves. I got to the turnips and there was a jellylike substance. It was shaped like an egg. About an inch long. I picked it up. Took it out of the garden. Put it under my shoe. It was so gross.
I took the wire from my straw bales. I got some netting in fabrics at walmart. Stuck the wire in the ground. Draped over my netting. I secured it with stones and sticks. No worms no white butterflies on brassicas. The cabbage is outstanding.
I found one tomato out of 18 plants.
No peppers yet but I do have flowers. Your peppers look great. The one have so many peppers already.
The other day I thought about your flower toilet. So my mind said it's a floral camode. Have an awesome day. Looking forward to Saturday for the next video.

  2. Wow!,those peppers are sure lookin good Jim. You sure have a great variety gowin on there.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  3. 1 Scorpion pepper in a crock of chili was just right. Scotch Bonnet, habenero, and Datil are my hottest this year.
I forgot to order seeds this year my favorite sweet pepper, the Carmen. Dark red, sweet, with a unique flavor .

Can't wait to see what the fruit looks like, because I'm always up for new flavors.

  4. Woohoaaaa…what a lot of peppers! ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ What are you going to do with so many, Jim? For us Asians, we have them almost on a daily basis. With our noodles, rice, fried veg and almost anything else. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€ You could say that they're part of our diet. Anyway, your pepper garden is really talking off. They all look good. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

  5. Great variety. Do you have ornamental peppers as last year and are they too bad to eat ?

I've planted "Aji white fantasy" and also "Paradicsom Alaku sarga szentes", which are from Hungary (mother of my husband is hungarian. With their shape, she stuffed it whith meat and rice). I've fruits yet in the end of May (never had fruits so early !! but sewed in february indoor) and only in a greenhouse. And as each year, "corno di torro", "lunch box", "california wonder" and I try this year "sweet chocolate peppers". Congratulation and greetings from Belgium
