  1. To be sure get an x-ray. Especially if he doesn't want to recognize pain. He wants attention and to play with his fantastic parents and sister.

  2. Ah I hope and pray that Hercules gets better we're going to pray for him and for Nala too! And Kyle and Shannon you guys are awesome keep up the good work I would be so lost if I was trying to do what you all are doing but it's something I would like to do it's just a scary thought to me God will direct me in the right path! God bless you both and stay safe don't get hurt and have a good one see you on the next video.🙂🙏😇✌️🇺🇸☃️

  3. Maybe Herc has a bruise, they are often hard to see. Or like others have said, a sprain or strain. I've had several large dogs, who during play, especially when young get them. It never hurts to have some natural or vet recommended anti-inflammatory supplements on hand. If you can handle and feel his whole body and he doesn't yelp, you are probably int he clear. Just like a kid, they get rambunctious, and can ignore those little pains. He is so very beautiful.. Though he is young,, he is a big dog and the hemp supplements Chad uses are quite often a good thing to start before they get stiff. Give him HUGS from Delaware.

  4. Hopefully Herk can get a vet appointment if you don't see it something's wrong…..
    From Baltimore Maryland

  5. The shelter looks great. The goats are going to think that they are in a in a Taj Mahal. I hope that Nyla and Herc heal soon. Thank you for sharing with us. 💕🐕

  6. Hi Kyle and Shannon I really love your goat shelter its cool ignore the negative comments about it, the goats and herc will love it. Hope the vet can tell you what
Hercs and Nalas problem is. You both are doing so well as far d you have got. I really like your videos you are a cheerful and loving couple. Amanda xx

  7. If you want to know more about the outdoor heating system, then you need to check out Al Lumnah’s UTube channel. They live in a more formidable climate, and they love it. It makes a lot of sense.

  8. Poor Herc. Maybe it’s a foreign of some sort that broke off in his car pad. I’ve had a little Charlotte glass in my finger in the past, and nobody saw it, but I knew it was there. Eventually, I got a little infection and was able to squeeze it out. He could’ve sprayed his foot and not really have anything in it. I had a cat that did that. I took a to have x-rays and the doctor said spraying his toe… Lol yes it happens to animals to just like us when we kick things.😂

  9. I haven’t finished watching the video, but I have to say this before I forget, which is something happens to older people. You mentioned not doing your tool shed before doing that well house. Well, in my opinion, you should do the tool shed first because you have a structure for the wheelhouse which will get you through the winter. You can do that in the spring, but you need a shelter for your tools and equipment now. Just my two cents.😊

  10. I think it looks great guys thinking 2 things possible with hurks leg looks like he either sprained it or there also could be a hidden tik in it but thinking that season is over but yea never know these days leaning more towards possible sprain

  11. If you go to Lumnah Acres on You Tube, they are building an off grid property in New Hampshire and he has one of those outdoor heaters and loves it. It keeps his house at 70° even when there's snow on the ground.

  12. Herc's issue may be shoulder instead of paw.
I've raised 6 dogs over a lifetime and my experience has been when dogs have an external paw issue, they will lick the wound. Have him to the Vet for an x-ray, if it's a soft tissue
    injury, he will eventually recover.

  13. Back in the day, my Sister and Bro-in-law had
one of those outdoor wood burning heaters. they had a water/glycol
circulating syster with radiators. Their house was a 95 yr. old farm house on 65 acres. I remember they had a propane furnace but
the cost of a tank full
of that stuff was big $.
    My bro-in-law told me
that a flat bed semi load
of fire wood cost a little
more than the propane, but would last more than twice as long. They lived
    in Michigan

  14. Those goats are gonna love that little barn. I can't wait to see their reaction. It's gonna be great!! I think Herks gonna be right in there with them. 😊

  15. Check out the wood burning stove Lumnah Acres uses to heat their radiant heat floor and water. Herc may have bruised his foot or leg when running around – sticks or rocks – just like if we step on something too hard.

  16. I would say he jumped wrong , swung left when he shoulda swung right . I usually say if he isn’t crying out give it some time. Usually they come out of it. If it goes on and on I would go have him looked at . You would be shocked how much tolerance dogs can have to discomfort

  17. TBH it looks to me like his shoulders where Herc’s issue is. I would 1-Get him on a glucosamine supplement daily. 2-Track occurrences & activity level(s). 3-Make an appt with Vet if it doesn’t subside within five days.

  18. Sometimes it couldn't be just a prickle and they they can be all They can almost be see through We had to see because they very fine

  19. Just to give you an idea that outside burners seem to be really efficient. lumnih acres is and Justin Rhodes is the other one that heat with those. Now Al and Gina are moving into an off grid 100 plus acre home and that's exactly what he put into do all the heating for their tiny house that they're going to live in while they build their big house and it will take care of both. Justin uses his as a supplemental but still primary for his hot water in heat. Also I want to add the sheds that you was looking at the ones that have the capital g on the front are Grayson's and they are absolutely fabulous. My family owns six of those currently and will own more.

  20. Looking good you 2 are learning a lot. Keep up the good work. God bless you from Michigan ❤️

  21. Try restricting Herc's activities to only the goat yard for a 2-5 days to see if his limp gets better.
Does he jump off the raised platforms? If so, sorry to say, that's one of the worst things large breed dogs can do. It starts damaging their hips and joints before they even hit maturity.

  22. My guess watching is more joint than paw. Our “bigger” breed dogs at home we gave them but c while growing.
Trust yous get answers so he can get ahead without no much suffering.
The goat palace looks great thus far. Thank you for a great share

  23. I’m interested in learning about that earth heater. Prayers for Herc please do take him to the vet. Prayers for Nalda too. Precious babies.

  24. Greetings from Tehachapi CA, I truly appreciate your Vlogs.

Keep them coming, I watch daily.

Kyle, check out Al at Lumnah Acres (YouTube)

You've been inspirational these past two years (Pandemic)

    😷😕😉🤗😇

    Best Regards, TTFN, Cheers

  25. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV, Jesus Christ is the only way……….

  26. Definitely have Veterinarian check it out if there is no improvement in a few days. Xray may be a good idea just to rule out injury. Is Herc on a large breed formula food? You can also confine him tp a small area for the next few days to keep excercise minimal . It's hard but neccessary at times for the well being of the animal . Good luck and I pray it's just a soft tissue bruise.

  27. The heating system is extremely efficient! Good friends had one in Northern BC where temps can drop down to -30C or colder for long lengths of time. They had a Huge home (basement, main floor and second floor) which was kept at an even temperature. He would cut 4 or 5’ lengths of trees and poop them into the burner every day or every other day. Hot water All the time too.

  28. He might have a splinter that’s the same color as his paw pad . Did you say the metal was black? Black draws heat, good for winter but not summertime. It make it very HOT!
