    I’m from Cleveland Ohio I’ve been telling family and friends to stock since 2020 they think I’m crazy. We have not seen a lot of shortages just yet.

    Panic buying what? If it’s not today . Or tomorrow it’s not the 9th. It’s usually by the first of the month not the ninth. The majority of the world gets paid on the first to third and then sone so it would start this week . Wot social security and other incomes first. Not the 9th . I’m confused . You know folks shop in December for several holidays . Stop it.

    I stand with the truckers and railroad workers. Benefits for them is beneficial for us all. It’s way past time for the Government and Big Businesses to realize that putting people over profits will eventually lead to a stronger economy!✊

    Nurses in the twin cities, MN are planning to go on strike too. How many other cities people going on strike? I live in greater MN, outside of the major cities. We are seeing shortages but not as bad as you guys. Did you know there is a shortage of amoxicillin and others?

    Yes I agree that things will get slower but only a certain amount of freight comes off a rails majority is trucks anything can be moved on trucks so trucks won't stop moving it'll just increase the jobs for truckers I don't think it'll get any worse it's bad enough.

    I’ve seen a lot of comments about lack of benefits for minimum wage jobs .. 1st those jobs don’t require you to do work that risks your life, 2nd those jobs don’t require you to be away from home days and weeks at a time, 3rd those jobs have a shift and you go home these guys are on call 24/7 and 4th most minimum wage jobs require zero skill set these guys have a valuable trade … sorry I know the truth can be uncomfortable but there it is …

    Maybe this can help you out a little bit if you get a chance take a peek in the storage room if it's packed with stuff that will tell you they don't have enough employees to put the stuff out on the floor. In PA I I stopped in Dollar tree was well packed enough employees very organized.

    Here in South Africa we have 15 paid leave days per year, then 15 paid sick leave days, over a 3 year cycle. If all that has run out the unpaid leave is submitted.

    The railroad strike really isn't the biggest concern. Very very little of the stuff you see in the grocery store ever see's train tracks. Trains transport Fuel, Lumber, Car's, Etc.. But what is of great concern is the rioting in China. Most people don't realize just how completely dependent we've become on them.
