💚 I love growing vertically. It adds structure, interest and beauty to all garden spaces I think 🤩
💡Here are a few tips on vertical growing:
✔️Beans, cucumbers, loofah, melons and most kinds of vining squash are all exellent candidates for trellis gardening
✔️ Also sweet potatoes are great climbers and looks great on a trellis
✔️ Cattle panels are one of my go to trellising options cheap and easy to put up yourself
✔️Make sure to support under your arch if you grow bigger things like butternuts
✔️Everywhere you have a fence in a bright spot, you can do vertical gardening, you don’t need a garden bed, just place your climber I a container next to the structure you want it to climb and help it attach itself. Just remember to water and feed regularly.
✔️Mix your eadible climbers with your perennial or evergreen flowering climbers for an even more stunning display in your garden 🤩
👩🌾 Save this reel if you found it helpful and have a wonderful Sunday 🤗
