โ€œAutumn carries more gold in its pocket than all other seasons.โ€ -Jim Bishop

Welcome to DAY 7 of my Holidays in the Garden Series! Today we are taking a tour of my backyard garden in November. The garden is going to sleep, but if you look close, there are still really beautiful things to see! ๐Ÿ‚ Enjoy!

  1. Stanley is so adorable love seeing him, He is such a sweetheart, it so adorable how he wants to hang with you our dogs do the same thing

  2. Ugh! I have to catch up with your videos! I feel bad watching this out of order.๐Ÿ˜†

  3. Hi Janey ๐ŸŒบyour garden looks beautiful in fall season .I love it .l watch Claus Dalpy videos , Janey how beautiful and amazing how he design every season an attractive colors they are charming . Have awonderful day .๐ŸŽ„

  4. Hi Janey! May I suggest you move the Wichita Blue Juniper to the right, in the corner behind the bench? Your Red Twig Dogwood is going to grow to at least 6' x 4', perhaps 8' x 6', and will crowd the Juniper too much for either of them to look good. Also the vertical shape of the Juniper would be so perfect to grow in the corner, unobstructed by the pergola where it is now. Thank you for continuing your garden tour through every month. It is very helpful to see what other's do with their planting for winter interest, especially since I am also in zone 9b in Chico.

  5. I love that bougainvillea that ur neighbor gave you.nice purple color. I got myselff one and i didnt know what the color so it will be a surprise when it blloms for me.i was looking for yellow one but its kinda hard to find that color. What do u use to fertilize to make it bloom? Right now its inside my house and its growing like crazy.hoping to make it like a topiary look. Thank you jenny.take care.๐Ÿฅฐ

  6. Suggestion: use bird netting over your lettuce.Smaller holes & less obtrusive in your garden.
Always fun to watch your videos!

  7. Love today's quote. I'm somewhat shocked your bots are full just after 2 rains, that's great. Your place will knock their socks off, well those who will have socks on. And Stanley, love how he meander while you walked us around, with a check in now and then, what a doll.

  8. Stanley is so adorable. There is always so much to clean up in the garden. I hope you have a wonderful day.

  9. Suggestion for your white pots. Place the rosemary bushes from Costco in each one. Then surround them with red and white winter flowers like violas, pansies, cyclomin and dianthus. I use a battery operated snow flake light string from hobby lobby too and they are timed. 5 $ for a string. They will stay fresh and festive all winter.

  10. The house we moved into has camellias along the porch. I had no idea what they were, they bloomed in dec/January and I kept saying โ€œwhat is this?! Looks like a roseโ€ lol from my research I think itโ€™s black tie japonica.. not sure. They are red and have such symmetry! Thereโ€™s tall is the roof, so Iโ€™m not sure if they were meant to be tree height or somebody just let them grow and grow ๐Ÿ˜‚ I just noticed color peeking through the buds yesterday! Such an awesome sight to see these beautiful winter blooms! Those pink debutant camellias are beautiful!! It would make a great birthday gift! My birthday is next month Iโ€™ve told my family all I want is house houseplants LOL

  11. I love these videos! How are your rain barrels hooked up? Iโ€™ve been using buckets to capture rain water, but would love a rain barrel like yours. Thanks
