  1. Were you able to buy wild Olives at a nursery or did you have to grow the yourself. We can only buy commercial varieties here in 🇦🇺 and have to dig up wild Olives out of a paddock.

  2. very interesting episode for me, unfortunately in Eastern Europe (Poland) we have a dark wet winter, frosts that olives in containers will not survive. With us, work on Mediterranean plants is possible from June. But I have a lot of olive tree seedlings and I was looking for an idea, because as solitaries I would have to wait until the end of my life for a mature look… In my opinion, a great place to get olives are roadsides in Croatia, mowed twice a year, you can find olives 5 centimeters in diameter and more , 5-10 centimeters high, well compacted. I have a few and if I manage to keep them alive after digging, it's great weed material 😉

  3. Is this an ok time to repot /create a forest like this in SA? W Cape specific. Thinking of doing an Acacia forest.

  4. this is one of the best group plantings i have seen and the ideas for creating it are great, especially the cage made out of skewers wired onto the base of the pot to tie the trees to. great idea !
