Hey I made a mistake in this video! It’s best to not use the whole syringe. I guess I just got lucky 😅. I’ve heard you can use the whole syringe but there is a chance that it could be too much liquid which could result in mold. For a different batch I used 2-3 ml and mycelium is growing just fine! ❤

I just need a legit place to find good spores 🙁 anybody? I found one website that has some really good spores I have grown in the past, i will be growing in a tank as well for maximum mushroom yield. Hello! I am a new grower and am hoping you may be able to help with a problem I’m having. I saw a teeny little patch of teal in my grow bag. Is was so very small, less than the size of a dime and not easy to tell if it was bruising or trich. So I figured I’d let it sit for a few more days and monitor the growth. I figure if it is mold it would spread and become all the more obvious. Is this correct to think? Since then it is slowly being overtaken by mycelium since I mixed about 2 weeks ago. It is not spreading as obviously as I had hoped. Any experience with this kind of thing? It’s getting to a point where if I had not monitored it as closely as I have I may have missed the small spot of discoloration before the rest of the substrate bricks up…..:/
I use blackened bins in which I spray purified water for humidity…our clothes hold dust dirt and dander so no bueno on having them near my bags.

Never disinfect needles. They come sterile out the packaging. Only if you are using it twice with time in between. I'm no expert, but if you can just use a second needle if you can!
