Welcome to Diary of a Yorkshire Gardener, I’m Francesca and this is my gardening channel 🌱
I grow as much food and flowers as I can cram into our medium sized garden in Harrogate, North Yorkshire (UK)
A bit about me:
🌱I’m 29 and live with my husband, daughter and our mischievous cat.
🌱I love growing exotic/unusual plants and mushrooms.
🌱I preserve and can as much homegrown produce as I can, for all year round eating. Chutneys, jams, pickles.. you name it, I’ve made it!
🌱I share beginner gardening and preserving tips, info and inspiration.
🌱I’m a keen advocate for gardening for mental health.
🌱Trying to live more sustainably and make eco conscious choices.
I don’t claim to be a pro. I’ve learnt a lot in the last few years and I’ve got a lot more to learn! Experimenting is one of the aspects of gardening I enjoy the most ☺️
