The two craziest things about snooker are touched upon in this video:
1) Not actually hitting the cue ball in the centre even though you think you are. Presumably due to your particular visionbrain. Therefore needing to spend the rest of your life aiming to hit it off-centre.
2) Playing shots with side. As Trump explains, he doesn't really understand how he does it. He couldn't coach somebody else to do it. He's just practised doing it for years and has learntremembered how much to try and miss the shot by depending upon how hard he's hitting the white, the distance between the balls and the amount of side he's using. It's ridiculous when you think about it.
Love watching these two. Could watch them all day. Wouldn’t mind hanging out with them in some pub on pool table just chilling and see what they’re like a a game of pool.
Seeing these 2 great top 16 players give their advice to the snooker fans really is lovely to see so that anyone else that plays snooker can hopefully improve their game better to what it is. Such great players, nice guys. Would be great to see Jack win a tournament.
As a musician (who doesn't actually rehearse as much as I could and should), I agree with Judd Trump, the man who ressurrected his own last name…
Getting it right is important. Not so much the time, but the quality. I think this goes for everything in life – since it goes for music. And even snooker….
