Scrambling to finish fall garden jobs!

I’m scrambling to finish a bunch of fall garden jobs! Bulb planting (or trying to), digging dahlias (!), cleaning out pots, mulching with leaves and more.

Warmish, waterproof $10 gloves I’m digging: https://amzn.to/3GPbpid

  1. My garage is always a mess…gets a little better in the so when everything comes out…planted bulbs in pots last year and rotted them from overwatering…swore never to try again but Color Blends and Longmont Gardens sucked me in one more time! Also more alliums in the front garden…and a Power Planter auger! Visiting friend helped me!

  2. Ooi I would love some old weather here in cape Town south Africa right now we have are in our sweating hot 🥵🥵🥵🥵sumer season over here poor gardens

  3. Love how real you are. I am in zone 8. First we got near freezing weather which is very early for us in November. And now we have been inundated with rain for days. Hoping we get sun so that I I can get a few more tasks done.

  4. Hi Erin – so much to do, so little time… I went to plant the last 50 bulbs in my garden last week-frozen ground. Two 40 degree days this week and was able to get the daffs in.

  5. You my fav YouTuber AND your in my zone!! Thanks for sharing Erin🪴♥️ no flip flops today…

  6. I'm planting tulip bulbs and spreading leaves today. Life was more important than my garden this fall. Happy Holidays to you and your family.

  7. Just the inspiration I needed to get the fall cleanup done so decorating for winter is easier.

  8. This is the first year that I left all fallen leaves in the planted beds, did not cut down perennials, left annuals to drop seeds. I dread the Spring cleanup, but hope that this is a better ecological way to treat the garden for the winter.

  9. Don’t dwell on people giving you shade Erin. I’m retired with certainly more free time than you, my little
sewing/multipurpose room is always in a state of chaos like the Tasmanian devil cartoon character went through. You do so much right, a little chaos gets a total pass from the majority of your loyal viewers. Life is too short people, be kind. ❤

  10. I am behind as well! I finally cleared out my vegetable beds yesterday. I still have parsley, chives, thyme, and arugula growing! (Zone 7B NJ). Enjoy the weather while you can. Be well and thanks for another great video.

  11. I love to see a messy garage. It makes me feel I’m not alone!😂. I too put off chores due to our beautiful fall, I’m in southern Michigan. Good luck with the tulips!
