  1. I see an upgrade in camera, right?
There's a filler paste for plastic you can use to fill the small holes and imperfections in the angle grinder body.

  2. There always comes that personal self satisfaction when you repair or refurbish such tools. At least that is how I feel. Nice refurbishing of this grinder… Thumbs Up!

  3. 1:06 one trick one can do before taking one of these apart is to take a fiberglass pen (or just plain fiberglass rod) and stick it through the opening of the brush holder into the commutator bars. Then, rotating the blade will make the fiberglass rub against it and clean the bar just enough for the brush to make contact again (after that, it self cleans).
This is useful as a first troubleshooting tip because in most cases (with brushed motors) the commutator bars are visible even if the brushes aren't removable from the case, through vents. So a fiber glass rod/pen will go in most of those vents. Also, fiberglass doesn't embed anything into the copper, so that's a plus.

  4. 今は亡き日立(現在はハイコーキ)の工具を治して貰ってうれしい。

  5. Be careful when you first plug in such a old and worn out applicance to the mains! I suggest you at least to test with a multimeter if the shell is in short circuit with the wire terminals, before plugging it in.

  6. grouse work mate love it and best of all saved from the scrap heap and of course brought back to life too and put to good use too and plenty of power plus made in Japan too which is a bonus and cheers from Australia 🐑🐨🦘🌏 to your area.

  7. Well done! A hair dryer will heat the bearings and gear case so that bearings will often slip in with a tap or two. Get a CanGun1 for aerosol spraying. Makes all the difference.

  8. Лучшее оставить корпус шуршавом виде,удобно для работы чтоб зацепить …
