  1. I'm not a big persimmon fan but I am a major Tuck fan! 🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤎🤍🤎🤍🖤Just let me grab my felco 🤎🤍🤎🤍

  2. I want to plant one so bad. I'm currently in zone 5b/6a Springfield IL but may be moving to a zone 6b soon.

Have you heard of ichi ki kei jiro persimmon? Supposedly hardy to zone 6b and it's non astringent.

  3. I have wanted a Persimmon tree. I'm always afraid of the deer eating them or the coons, then I'd be upset. I never had them before until about 8 years ago, I tried some persimmon pudding that a little old lady made at a festival and it was amazing, then I tried persimmon cookies that I bought from an Amish family. SO good!

  4. Thank you James! This is fantastic! I especially like the tip about ripening in the house, in a container, with an apple for it's ethylene gas! How about that! I know someone who grows a persimmon tree. I'm going to pass along your tip and reference your video, just in case she doesn't know about it. Have a great weekend! 🤗❤Tuck

  5. Oh my goodness. They look so delicious. Can you make jam with them. I'm jersey too. Might put one in. Hugs for Tuck. Handsome boy.

  6. I am planning to get one planted this year. It’s my first year to taste fuyu Simmons and loved it. Not fan of the soft kind😏 but going to plant the hard as an apple kind. Not sure what variety yet and I’m in zone 9b

  7. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your gardening world. See you in the next one. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  8. I have a wild persimmon tree that, at first, was so crowded out with undergrowth, would not produce. After I cleaned out from around it, it looked much like the one you're showing. This year however, it didn't put out a single fruit. I'm assuming it's taking a rest, kind of like some nut trees do. The wild fruit is about the size of a cherry. I've not been able to harvest any fruit as it was in the middle of my pig pasture. This year, I don't have any more pigs, but no fruit. hopefully next year. I am attempting to propagate it into my food forest. There are a few more on my land, but not nearly as prolific as that one, well, until this year..

  9. Great content! Where should one buy the tree? What do you do with all the persimmon? When do they fruit? Thanks

  10. I love Asian persimmons! 🎉 Never heard of Nikita persimmon 😮, great info! Would it grow well here in North Carolina?

  11. I live in Massachusetts which type of permissions should I attend to plant and where to get seeds or young trees?
