  2. Wow that is awesome Kaye! You are so lucky to have your son there to show you around for these unique communities. So people who live there actually build their own homes or they can purchase one already made? I think that would work great in certain climates but be much more difficult to build and maintain in others. Thanks for bringing us along on your adventure to Taos New Mexico!

  3. Modern caveman approach in this area is very smart. I would really like to see the Alaskan version. High tech common sense is rare , & way cool .

  4. THANK πŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈYOU FOR THE EARTHSHIP TOUR .

  5. I love the whole concept of the Earthship. I find it very interesting how earth-berm building and geothermal heating and cooling reduces your demand and need for expensive units. I'm also interested in the waste water recycling for flushing and greenhouse. If I could build again, I would use the earth-berm strategy for sure.

  6. hi kaye πŸ€—
thanks for sharing this valuable information with us. i really like the concept and could see me living this kind of life.

  7. I love the earthships… If In had money, I would build one in Saskatchewan… we get a lot of sun… even in the winter… dream the dream

  8. Thanks for the tour! I'm from southern New Mexico. I moved to Oklahoma in 1983, but my heart is in NM. I miss those deep blue skies! Thanks again! God bless!

  9. When we left NM in1978, the alternative community was in full swing (have you seen the video "Garbage Warriors" of the growing pains..??Corina took the academy course about 8years ago.Our passive solar greenhouse was inspired by these days .This was my stomping ground way before I met KC ..
