I was due to have my 2nd transfer on Saturday but got a call on Monday to cancel it as the HVAC system in the lab had broken down and they couldn’t repair it quickly enough to risk going ahead with the thaw (I’m using frozen eggs). I’m trying to find the positives but it’s so frustrating.
I’m just hoping they don’t tell me I have to skip the next cycle altogether because of Xmas. My Dr appt isn’t until the 16th Dec which seems an age away. It’s a tough process that’s for sure.

My husband had a dna frag test ages ago it wasn’t explained properly and I went through 4 more miscarriages before we worked out what was at the crux of it all. So important to ask questions! As to why they are suggesting something. So I would suggest that to everyone just ask why.

I had a nurse tell me that the second try is usually the one that takes most often. It makes sense with the statistics, so hang in there and can't wait for try #2! 🙏
My first one fail in October so we gearing up for #2. Everything was perfection
I was thinking embryo #1 just might be it girl. When the doctor said that, I was like OMG. Think about it, he/she was the strongest little one that made it out of many. Like Jack said all you need is that one, to stick. It frustrates me that they would do extensive test on your lining if the 2nd one doesn’t work, as if it’s only hundreds and not thousands of dollars do each of these task at hand in order to get your blessing. I have a good feeling about this one. ❤

I have a medical question but NOT for you situation: does your fertility clinic allow 2 embryo transfers? I’m running into an issue where my clinic only does singles & I want 2. This was something I never knew I had to ask prior to choosing a doctor. And I see a few youtubbers who were allowed to transfer 2
I did my first frozen embryo transfer on tuesday, and have testday 6. december. And hoping it will go my way after 4 round of IVF and just negativ rounds, all embryo was stopping developing on day 3 every time
First round i got Bemfola 225 IE, Fyremadel 0,25mg and Ovitrelle 225Ug
11 eggs out, 7 fertilized and all stopped developing on day 3💔
Second Round i got Menopur 300 IU, Fyremadel 0,25mg and Ovitrelle 225Ug
15 eggs out, 10 Fertilized, all stopped developing on day 3 again💔
Third Round i got Menopur 150 IU and Gonal-F 150 IE, Cetrotide 0,25 mg and Ovitrelle 250 Ug
Got 16 eggs out, only 5 fertilized, all sopped developing on day 3 again💔 This time i did have many eggs that wasn't mature…
After this round the doctor wanted me an my husband to do some bloodtest called karyotyping (This helps your doctor easily determine if any chromosomes are missing or damaged. That can stop the developing of the cells)
It took 6 week to get the result of this bloodtest we took. It was normal for me and my husband, so they wanted to use ICSI on the next round.
Fourth Round i got Menopur 150 IU and Bemfola 150 IE, Cetrotide 0,25mg and Gonapeptylx2
Got 19 eggs out, 17 fertilized, AND WE GOT FINNALY 3 Blastocyst frozen on day 6❤❤❤❤❤ I was so happy
First try of frozen embryo transfer i didn't ovulated, so it got cancelled
Seccond try i was taking Letrozol tabl on day 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 of my periods. Got positiv ovulationtest 3 days after last Letrozol tabl👏
The ultrasound the day after we could see i have ovulating. So started with Cyclogest Vaginal tablets 2 days after that positiv ovulationtest.
Transferday was Tuesday 22. november and i got testday 6. December❤
I am hoping your next transfer is going to end positiv, and crossing every fingers and toes for you both🤞🤞❤❤❤

Hi Mac, I am following you and you are my inspirer. I have been married for 2 years and tried various options for baby with no luck. Seeing your videos I have gathered my energy opted Shady Grove fertility and I am currently in discussion with IVF procedure. Does your insurance cover IVF? Can you tell me which insurance you have been using to cover the treatment? I have Aetna and it covers only medicine. Can you please help me how things are during IVF financially?
Our first transfer failed but the following two were successful and I believe it was because I had uterine/endometrial scratches done. The first time the doc had suggested it, the second we had to request it. Don’t remember if you had it done but just thought I’d mention it.
