Sim, I would like for you to have a hot take on this, about RJ. I believe the reason for RJ's bad shooting stretch is no coincidence. RJ is a natural righty that shoots with his left. Because of that, he will never be a great shooter. Look at LeBron. He's a natural lefty who shoots with his right. And LeBron has always been a streaky shooter. Especially at the beginning of his career. It just so happens that LeBron is an athletic nightmare, RJ isn't. It has nothing to do entirely with athleticism though. Ala Melo, Pierce, Doncic*, Duncan, Manu, and the list goes on. I'm telling you, the fact he's not a natural lefty is killing him. Would love to hear a take on that.

Lavine is not happy in Chicago. Try to get him and Alex Caruso for Randle, RJ and Rose. Chicago lineup would be good: Guards – Ball/White/ Roze/Dragic/Terry/Dosunmu, Forwards – DeRozan/P.Williams/Randle/RJ/Green/Jones Jr., Centers – Vucevic/Drummond/Bradley/Simonovic. Yes Lavine is bad on D, but that's 1 bad defender instead of Randle/RJ sleepwalkers. Caruso is pretty good on D. Knicks could play JB, Zach, Grimes, Cam, Mitch/Simms starting lineup and McBride, Quickley, Caruso, Obi and IH/Simms from the bench. Both teams win. The only thing to do then, is to pack up Fournier with some picks for Myles Turner. 🙂

I agreed with the caller. That these coaches aren't holding certain players accountable. We seen it all last year with Randle. If they were holding mainly Randle and RJ accountable, why do they continue to make the same bone headed mistakes? They are rewarded with more minutes than any other player on the team.

RJ Barrett wants to label himself the Maple Mamba. Well in order to be the Maple Mamba he has to attack like Kobe, use a high IQ like Kobe, and be fearless like, Kobe. He has to feel, and play like – he "CAN'T" be stopped!! And he has to go out there and go for at least 50 "Every" night, even if he only gets 37. He needs that – you can't guard me, mentality!! You can't just "WANT" to be the best. You have to – "be the best".. Until he can master that mindset, he needs to scratch the Maple Mamba mantra!💯

RJ Barrett is not a bust. He works hard on his game every day methodically practicing his moves and fundamentals. He is like Kobe Bean Bryant in that way. He will get better. That's why Thibodeau believes in him because he sees his application of effort to his development program. First off I predicted that either Portland Trailblazers, Memphis Grizzlies Los or the Angeles Clippers were coming out of the East. If this early part of the season is any indication I see the Western Conference Finals as being Portland Trailblazers vs. Memphis Grizzlies. And the Finals as Portland Trailblazers vs. The Milwaukee Bucks. Portland Trailblazers wins it all. In other words the Knicks just took the eventual NBA Finals Championship Team without their top go to player overtime and lost by a three point shot! Y'all underestimated the Portland Trailblazers. That actually a good litmus test for the New York Knicks. Their movement without the ball was better but the need to alternate between jogging, sprinting, lulling the defense to sleep cutting to the open spot on the floor with hands up to receive a pass, and they really need to learn to . That said I have three potential trades 1) trade Immanuel Quickly for Ochai Agbaji 2) trade Cam Reddish for Shaedon Sharpe. 3) trade Julius Randle Evan Fournier for Kyrie Irving. If. He is on an expiring contract at worst case scenario and he is a super star on the cheap.
I like listening to this show as well as others, but I can’t keep listening to y’all give excuses for Thibbs! Real shii!!! Players in the NBA have skill. They are not necessarily good players. It takes good coaching to turn skilled players into good/great players. Thibbs is a terrible head coach. Great assistant coach HORRIBLE head coach!!! All the dumb shii Randle does… constantly hijacking’s the offense. Constantly Wasting possessions, taking dumb ass shots etc.. is a direct result on the coaching and what he game plans and allows! Why didn’t the STARTER Grimes not play in the 4th and o.t? Because Quickly had a good 4 minute stretch????? Simone’s was literally torching us and our best chance was putting grimes on him! He started grimes on him to start the game, then we don’t see grimes anymore smfh. Why didn’t Mitch start o.t? Because simms had a good 4 minute stretch? Why is grimes not playing, but Rj plays 44 minutes even tho he’s not playing very good?? Too many questions! You guys spend too much time talking about things that are way less relevant then the biggest issue! This coach does not coach to win the game! He coaches to appease his players w/the highest seniority!! This team is a joke and embarrassing to watch!! We should boycott watching this trash till they fire the coach and get someone in here w/balls ! And some some that will coach this team!
