I finally got my DIY goat feeder completed! It’s so nice to have something that works and actually does (almost completely) stop the hay waste that goats are known for.
It took me a couple months to complete it only because summers are so busy and I worked on it in the cracks of life.

We use all sorts of feeders for round bales and squares. They always find new ways to waste hay. The little sweet faces make you forgive them. That feeling of having the goat yard cleaned out can only be understood by those who love and keep hay wasters!😇
Trim the tree branches back a bit so they don't hang over the goat feeder. So you don't get a bunch of poop. Looking good
