    Some of the herbs will come back over the winter – so you can keep some of them – like the sage!

    I know that when repotting plants you're not supposed to make the new pot a lot bigger than the old pot…but the new pot (I know!!! please make me stop saying "pot"…lolol) seemed hardly bigger at all….was it just the angle I was looking at it or do figs like it "snuggly"? Great video…can't wait to see the tulips.

    when i repotted plants i would put chards from old clay pots underneath the soil thinking that would help with drainage, i don't if that helped, does anyone know?

    Suggestion. The best way to have longevity. All plants should be in terracotta flower pots (never the glazed ones, as the plants need to breathe) smiling

    Fig tree roots are considered vicious when compared to other common roots and those of fruit trees in general. They are difficult to eliminate.

    Wait a minute! When you transplant to a different pot, you do so to a bigger pot so that the roots have room to grow. Your plant is root bound.

    What does the excess water from the fig drain into? Those tulips are going to wonderful. 🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷

    OK your fig is stunning! I have some serious questions: why did you rip out the rosemary, that’s a plant that survives the winters (at least in Germany, but the weather seams to be similar enough) and why did you plant the tulips in your vegetables garden? Aren’t these flowers that come back for years?
