$385!! Stay in a Traditional Kyoto Style House (Machiya) with Zen Gardens😴🛌Japan🇯🇵

I stayed in a traditional Kyoto-style house that is called machiya with zen garden. I stayed by myself but you can stay with your friends or family…I think it’s up to 4 or 5 people.
So, you can divide the price.

  1. ☆About Kyomachi Kyo-koi Ogonya☆

🌸 The price is 45,000 JPY and it’s not good for one or two.

🌸 But you can divide it with 4 people which is better.

🌸 The design of the house is nice.

🌸 But I didn’t like some aspects such as the water thing without timer, it takes a lot of time to fill in the bathtub, the windows without curtains.blinds etc.

🌸 Kyonoyado Gekkoan that I stayed in before is highly recommended.

Thank you for watching and subscribing to my channel☺

I'd like to hear your opinion on this video and which area you would love to visit! Please comment below.x

  2. That house is so cute and I absolutely love that bathtub. I like how you give a history of the area when heading to the locations. I watch these with my son and through them he is learning things that he would never learn in any classroom here.

  3. Beautiful video as always, but I can tell that it wasn't one of your favorite places to stay at.😅

  4. Hi Anna, I saw the netting on the coi pond, what gets at the fish in a machiya, a bird (heron ?) cat? In the US, herons, cranes and raccoons are the worst

  5. Cool house👍 That bento you bought looked like not enough meat to justify the price🍱 It seemed to be mostly rice☹️ I think for the price, they should have at least had water bottles in the fridge! I might be nice if they put the water on a timer to turn it off at night unless it's a natural flow that can't be stopped! Another fine video, thanks for taking us along!😁

  6. I agree with your 3/5 star rating. It’s cute but it looks a bit outdated and in need of some repairs. Still pretty relaxing though. Thanks for the video 😊

  7. The decor a bit too tacky for my taste. Love the mini pond. Too expensive if you only stay by yourself. But good value if go with family.

  8. So, I hope they didn't charge you for the hole in the door? I also thought it was very odd to have a handle like that for the tub. As nice as that house was, one would think they would spruce it up with a nice decorative wooden handle and back-plate. Also mention in the info book that it takes 45 minutes to fill since that seems to be a overall long time… all it takes is a sentence. I also agree that it was a weird choice to not have curtains on all of the windows or a timer for the water to turn it on and off. A couple of free packets of tea/coffee wouldn't have broken the bank either. Did they even have a coffee maker? If they did, then it /really/ seems like a missed opportunity. I also noticed it was /super/ dark when you went outside to get your food. If the street is that dark, have a outside light for the door so people can at least find their way back or feel safe walking down the street. Total strangers who do not live in the area are staying there, make them feel safe enough to want to come back. Felt like the house was 90-95% complete.

Such a shame for a otherwise beautiful house.

  9. That water running all the time would drive me crazy. I am glad you could sleep through it.
As always, thank you for taking us with you on your travels because we get to see many spots we (probably) will never get to visit.

  10. Maybe the water thing should be full when a guest comes. Lovely place. I wish I could travel like you. Greetings from Canada.

  11. The dog should not be in front of the owner. The human should lead the pet, not the other way around.

    🤡

  12. Anna I think it is time to change the nail polish on your toes. I am imagening how they would look like with light pink, black or transparent white colour. Stay safe and keep filming.

  13. Hi Anna, I think it was an original experience, the garden is really beautiful!

  14. i think the fact that you can't control the water flow inside the home will be annoying to some people. Not everyone is used to noise when sleeping. there should be a shut off switch.

  15. another great video i love the look of kyoto historic and beautiful and very peaceful the house looks so good and comfortable but can you turn off the water running through the house i will be lying there thinking i will need a toilet always i really want to try a bento box looks you delicous and filling it was ok but perfer the other one you stayed at
