  1. Happy Thanksgiving Janey and family, hope you all have a wonderful day. Best thing about a sad looking garden this time of yr, everyone's looks like it. My first hard frost was late this yr, last yr we had an usually hard winter, farmers almanac is calling for a repeat.

  2. Happy Thanksgiving. You could
Cover the seedlings with frost cloth if a frost is coming. Your garden looks lovely in it’s fall dress. I hope you have a wonderful day.

  3. Hi Janey🌺 Happy thanks giving .what abeautiful creap myrtle tree it looks amazing in fall season also the other plants . In place plumbago you can plant Stephanotis jasmine it smells fragrant and Dahlia tree (Dahlia imperialis ).Have awonderful day .🌻🌷🌻

  4. I would love, love, love, to be able to treat my Superbenas as perennials!! That would be so awesome!!! I'm in New England, so Superbena is definitely an annual here!!! They are definitely on my top ten list of plants I love!!! ❣️❣️❣️

  5. Happy Thanksgiving Janey and to all your family! Turkey is in the oven and I couldn't wait to make coffee and spend Thanksgiving morning with my favorite you tube, future master gardener! Enjoy the holiday with your family. ❤🍗

  6. Love your videos! I love how the sweet alyssum still pops! That would look so pretty added around the Christmas trees to look like snow.

  7. Can Helen Von Stein take full sun? How much heat (I'm in AZ, 9B) can it take before burning up? I planted two this Fall in west facing full sun and if it will burn up, I think I may transplant it somewhere else. Does it transplant well?

  8. Happy Thanksgiving! Love seeing the November garden tour. I'm in California, zone 9a, so much of your content is perfect for me! I even took notes as I watched, making plans for my own garden for this coming year.

  9. Love watching your videos, anyway try planting sunpatiens under your crape myrtle they bloom all the time! We have 3 crape myrtle same color as yours by our driveway.😊

  10. Janey don't stress on planting out your starts. They are better off in the ground and it really isn't cold enough here in z9 to harm them if they are all root hardy here. I'm in Napa County and we've had consistent lows in the high 20's and 30's for the last 2 or three weeks . I just planted out snaps and feverfew seedings last week, and my volunteer Nigella are coming up all over the place. I'll be planting out some Rudbeckia seedlings this weekend.

  11. Your yard is still looking great. I agree with the comments below, get a frost cloth. Easy off and on and will give you some peace of mind. The hydrangeas are beautiful. Happy Thanksgiving🦃M

  12. Happy Thanksgiving!! I love listening to your explanations. Some things I’ve been figuring out in my garden but didn’t know why. Such as the micro zones and leaving the leaves. I have a couple of plants that say full sun but scorched so badly that I put them in pots first to find a happy place in my garden. Thank you!

  13. Our crepe myrtle is just glowing! Having just moved here last year I can’t say what it usually looks like but I don’t remember this glow last year… and oh my gosh Janey ever since you mentioned the Chinese pistache I’ve noticed them all over now! Those are some amazing autumn trees!!! My camera has been busy! Just beautiful! Happy thanksgiving to you and your family and…YouTube family of course!lol 😊

  14. I live in high desert zone 7B and two of my plants had the neighbor's leaves gathering round them, I lost half of both plants, they carry viruses, I removed the leaves and the plants regrew…so it's not a good idea to leave them.

  15. Loving this series. I am astounded by the growth of your blue juniper. Sooo much growth in the past year. But will the top get burned by afternoon sun when the tree is taller than the house?

  16. Perhaps try row covers in your cut flower patch. I had hardy annual seedlings planted in late winter and they survived temperatures down to -4C. I can’t imagine California dipping down that low?

  17. Again, we love the plumbago. Give it a bigger structure or lead onto the fence and give it some space to shine.
