Pollinating apple trees without bees is a labor-intensive, tedious process of transporting pollen from one apple tree to another using a feather on the end of bamboo stalks. Find out how fruit trees can be pollinated, even with the decline of the bee population, with advice from a sustainable gardener in this free video on gardening.

The video just said you could, aren't you listening?
i have only one apple tree and it has flowers
Great tip, thank you.
thanks for the video…i own an apple orchard in india…we rent beehives for pollination… jesus pollinating even one tree by hand sounds impossible let alone thousands
Bee at 2:32
Couldn't you graft multiple species of tree together so they could pollenate by wind or other insects?
This method of pollination would require lot of labour to produce fruit at commercial level which may not be in the interest of farmer and nature. i personally feel that powerful naiton of the world should find out ways to restore natural habitat to bees and other insect otherwise growing organic crop would be a far cry .Anyhow thank you sharing your method for pollination
The fact that we are talking about pollinating plants without bees is pathetic and sad. Help the bees
Bees are doing fine in fact there over populating the bee that is actually dieing is in foreign country that has no impact on the way we live
Robotic Bees is the future automated and will be cheaper then humans
Did you work in Columbus Church preschool?
Nearly half the video wasted on explaining why insects are needed for pollination. No demonstration. Just blather – very infuriating.
That is sooo stupid the adding more work to them self then let nature do it own thing
Can you try harder with your videos? I mean, why don't you go through the procedure and film it? You would help us much more than just seeing how you narrate vaguely
What a paranoia
