This Year’s Garlic Will Be Different! Here’s Why | Planting Organic Seed Garlic
Last year’s garlic did not give us results, so this year we decided to reach out to a local and well-respected source for organic seed garlic.
Our search took us to Keene Garlic (keeneorganics.com) in Wisconsin. This family owned company not only sells a large variety of organic seed garlic (along with seed potatoes and more), but they also have a wealth of experience growing garlic and an amazing, information filled website that can answer most garlic planting and growing questions.
On top of that, they are more than willing to provide great advice and help to those who are planting simply by giving them a call.

I planted some store bought garlic for the first time right before a small snow drop. I’ve never grown garlic. We’ll see what happens. If it doesn’t grow, I will buy seed garlic.

I'm right below you in Wisconsin and I have just set up my compost bins and six raised beds they are not complete so I couldn't plant yet but I do want to grow garlic. Thanks for the info. I enjoy all of your videos. I need all the Wisconsin secrets you have. I'm also looking for a good source for seeds that grow well in this area if you happen to know of any? Squirrels ate all mine. I didn't even know they ate garlic until I watched it happening. Now I know to put a type of cover over it.
