What to sow in November and tour of kitchen garden and allotment plots

Join us as we sow autumn broad beans for a crop in May and for a tour our kitchen garden and two allotment plots. Our aim is to produce as much of our own food as we can and we still have plenty of produce growing, in storage, frozen or dehydrated. Our goal is to have something we have grown every day of the year. The only other thing we will be sowing this month is garlic.
We saved our own autumn sown broad bean seeds for re-sowing. If you would like to save your own seed, please follow the link:

We also prune fruit trees and bushes in November and use homemade insecticide to spray them, which we do twice a year, if you would like to make your own insecticide, please follow the link:

  1. Hello Joe and Di, made my morning seeing another vlog from you. Wanted to share that I have managed to invest in an air fryer, same type as yours and have been copying your dehydrator makes. The tomato powder is amazing! Looking forward to the recipes for the soup and courgette balls. Happy weekend.
