Your garden is so beautiful. Much love and care has been put into it. Wish our temp.s would allow us to grow like that. Too hot in summer and too cold in winter. Texas weather has changed so much since the 80's when I use to grow tons of plants.
How many garlic cloves can you plant in a square foot?

Forgive me if this seems like a dumb question but why exactly do you want caterpillars in your garden? I thought they were bad for gardens.
I hope one day to have such a beautiful and productive garden like you. I like how now you can just enjoy your garden and stop expanding indefinitely. I can tell you have peace-of-mind being able to produce plenty of food for your family. Very inspirational!
