The Miracle of Bird Migration with Audubon's Jill Deppe | Studio Sessions Episode 11

Jill Deppe is the Senior Director of the National Audubon Society’s Migratory Bird Initiative. In the latest Studio Session of The Birders Show, Jill joins Chris and Diego to discuss the remarkable lives of migratory birds, the challenges they face, and what we can do to protect them. It’s an eye-opening and fascinating look at perhaps the most unbelievable bird species on Planet Earth.

  1. Shorebirds are fun! I don't know what my favorite bird group is, I love 'em all! Thanks for the video. Also I love ebirding, it's an awesome tool! 💯

  2. Great Episode! For me the fun part about waders is that they can be very hard to identify, it's like a big puzzle. I can have hundreds, even thousands, of godwits for example in front of me and my telescope, and just sit there for an hour trying to find that one hudsonian godwit or a rare asian dowitcher.

  3. I didn't know about bird migration, and this episode is perfect to learn how important is to protect interconnected forests. Amazing!
