The Shadow Economy and Crime will be the norm. I stack some tobacco for barter, I don't smoke, but many people do. Tobacco is worth gold when you are desperate for a smoke.
It's all called a dead currency. Inflation is just the symptom.
Do you collect urine for fertilizer?
It's a very specific type of plastic you have to get from a nursery or other plant store. It will hold up for a decade in direct sun. You can stretch it over 10 or 12 ft sections of half inch PVC pipe with rebar in the ground. This will create a small hoop house. Basically you'll be covering two rows at a time. YouTube has many videos on how to make these tunnels and the way to tie down over the tunnel. If you have much wind at all you will need to tie everything down. And there's a pretty nifty way of crossing them that allows you to slide up one side and it will hold in place while you can weed etc. This extend your growing period Significantly

Prices don't go up, paper currency goes down. Dollar down 98% against gold since 1971, $40 to $2,000 per ounce. Gold never changed. The buying power of the dollar changed. An ounce is always an ounce. Dollar falls 6% every year. Stocks up 6% every year to break even. Protect yourself.
