  1. Coincidentally, Pannen just published a video about how it's possible to collect the star above Marty in Tick Tock Clock in zero A presses.

  2. completely random trivia about miniscule mario kart tracks' details is not something I knew I needed in my life, thank you

  3. You know I really thought this was gonna be that stupid myth you can free Marty however I’m convinced you’ve solved the case

  4. A less fun theory but maybe he's supposed to be like a Frankenstein's monster kind of deal. Maybe the green lighting was to give him a more monster look

  5. I like how pannenkoek (UncommentatedPannen) made a 0xA presses video in the same day about Stomp the Thwomp

  6. I love that this even works with the different versions: In SM64 and MK64, Marty is blue and cubical, whereas, in SM64DS and MKWii, he's gray, spiked, and rectangular. It's perfect!

  7. I had a dream as a kid that I somehow got a hold of a boo and a starman at the same time and was able to pass through the cell and there was a shortcut behind that lead directly to the goal. It felt so real that years later when I played the game again I spent days trying to do it again.

  8. now, see, stuff like this is exactly why zoomzike is my favorite youtuber.
…also, wow, the vindication i feel from having it confirmed that marty is, indeed, Blue and not Green!

  9. I had no Idea that this thowmp was named Marty I knew he was there in the track and I always wondered why he was in jail but now I know why he’s there and who he is for that matter thank you mister zine for your insightful video as always

  10. Tick Tock Clock from Super Mario 64 reminds me of the duel mini-game Tick Tock Hop from Mario Party 3.

  11. I think he is not a prisoner, I think he is sick with a deadly virus… thats why he's the only (n64 style) thwomp we ever see that's green, (and the yellow lighting is a decision made on purpose, to make him look green in the game )

  12. First time I saw Marty, I got freaked out because my game design sense told my that thwomps are supposed to move and crush things, which meant if the game was holding him back, they were going to release him during the race to cause mayhem.
