Who are we?
I’m Kaylee: a garden coach, permaculture designer and homesteader. Almost a decade ago, my wife (Lindy) and I said “farewell” the convenient life and set out on a mission to “grow food, live simply & cultivate happiness”. We started a small 3/4 acre homestead in Idaho and learned everything we could about living sustainably and growing our own food. In 2020, we moved to the beautiful Pacific Northwest and began creating the 2-acre permaculture homestead of our dreams! And now we are taking you along for the journey with new videos each week!

  1. I am SUPER happy with how these low tunnels turned out! The little pex clips made it really easy to get everything set up and the little clamps that we developed to keep the greenhouse plastic tight are also holding very well. There was definitely a big difference in the greens and veggies that were under the greenhouse plastic during the cold snap and those that weren't. The ones in the low tunnel fared MUCH better! So this is definitely a "win" in my book!

  2. Really enjoying your channel- just subscribed yesterday! You said you were in Washington— what zone?

  3. You are so resourceful. That is my favorite part of your videos. I always learn something new about using what I already have. Also like learning about new products that you have found to be useful. Good job!

  4. Thank you for showing this video in a time-lapse instead of just explaining what you did in the past. Having the before and after really helps connect the dots. Great video!
