Please join me today in Harvesting my sweet potatoes from my small backyard garden. I’m so excited to share my sweet potatoes that I harvested in my no dig garden. These are organic sweet potatoes also known as Ipomoea batatas, camote, kamote, yam that belongs to the morning glory family.
I have grown purple and yellow varieties of sweet potatoes. You can harvest your sweet potatoes when their leaves starts to become yellow and brown. Harvesting sweet potato is so fun and exciting as well. I highly recommend growing sweet potatoes in your garden. If you have no space, you can try to plant or grow them in containers or pot.
