    I think it's Disney+ that's probably hurting the shows, when NETFLIX had them and were more adult oriented (MARVEL KNIGHT'S ) style like Jessica Jones I was not very familiar with her character and thought the show was awesome!

    That What if…Jane Foster became Thor book has adjusted after all the movie hype. That's how hype goes. The book I don't see getting much love is Thor #136 where Odin transforms Jane into an Immortal, if she can pass the test of a warrior born (which she doesn't, of course!). It's another great Kirby cover but seems to have been somewhat forgotten, except with us Silver age fanboys. There is ancillary interest as it holds a high price in high grades and it has stood the test of time because a Lee/Kirby book is always in demand. So, don't believe the hype kids.     Why shocked with echo? Marvels whole phase 4 is dedicated to D grade female characters..
    Now announcements of Agatha, echo, ironheart, madame web? Answer why to those. It is the M-SHE-U. And they don't even care to deny. Disney is gonna sacrifice marvel for this hill of wokeness.
    Invest in silver age. Anything 1985 and down. My opinion

    Hi david, I just want to say, thanks for these videos on key comics rising or dropping in price. They give me a nice quick feel for some developments in the market.

    On shows like Agatha or Echo, maybe a goal is to give the creators more freedom to tell their own stories. These characters are less established and less defined, which makes them a blank slate for creators to work with. Peacemaker and Andor show us what that can lead to.

    Agatha and Echo. Good grief. Marvel is all about "diversity." Activists are making these decisions and they don't care about good characters, stories, or their fan base. They check boxes while the industry fails. Sad. Manga offers everything comics used to. My kids won't touch a Marvel or DC comic. Just anime and manga……

    Great video. It’s not about tiers or A, B or C-listers. It’s Disney’s stated goal of “representation.” Disney / Marvel does not think of this from a main character or side character perspective. They review their deep Marvel cast of heroes and choose all new projects based on their stated goal. I am not saying it is good or bad for them to do this, instead it’s quite obvious and frankly not confusing at all. Hence, the Echo project.

    I'm not gonna lie I love that prices are falling on some key books. I can hold for years, and Disney is Woke as fuck that's why they make all these characters nobody cares about shows.but i think all this woke shit is slowing down

    yeahhhh they're obviously trying to tick some boxes, but I'd soooo much rather see these characters that most of us don't know much about, instead of just more hulk, spiderman, and dr. strange weirdo crap (because it sells). But they need to take the time to come up with some well-written stories for them for sure.

    The first stories in the comics are fantastic. She is a great character. But that is back when they were interested in telling good stories Disney Marvel now seems obsessed with inserting weird political propaganda into it's product. I can't call it entertainment.
    Echo's inclusion in Disney TV show brought attention to a great character but the great character was not present in the Disney TV show.
    Unless people read the book instead of buying an unreadable slab they only have a crap TV show to go off of.

    E level characters getting their own series. Marvel currently doesn't make a lot of sense right now. With the way Marvel is going, I was fully expecting the one bimbo from she hulk to get her own show.
