I do not like dogs, but I have yet to see a real service dog who is anything but well-trained, doing what is required, and sitting or lying quietly when the owner does not need help.
Last story: Yea what the guy did is fraud and blackmail as invoicing another party for a bill that you have to pay is consider fraud as you con them to pay for something that doesn't involve them plus threatening them to pay or a debt collector is called is consider blackmail. If any of this was proven in court the guy that defrauded OP's friend is going to get jailed.

water heater/generator story. I'm sorry, OP's freind is kind of a dumbass. I mean, who forks over $400 for repairs on a $100 water heater they sold? The offer to refund the $100 the guy paid for it was generous, paying 4 times that to have it fixed (even if that really was the heater he sold that was fixed) Not a chance.
The water heater/generator story is among the best pro-revenge stories Iβve heard! Savage!

In my workplace I've seen all kinds of service dogs. From a Rottweiler to small breeds. I'm not sure what they're trained for. But they are well behaved.
The ice machine in restaurant was broken. Would cost $500 to have it removed. I sold it and the buyer removed it.

The generator story was fairly good up until the end. OP stated that it would cost 5000 to fix the generator, which he had paid 800 for. So, when he got the 5000 to fix it (plus the 10,000 fine) why would any rational person then spend 5000 on the generator, to then sell it for 1000? Junk it, and keep the 5000, and you're 4000 ahead. So, either he got it fixed very cheap, or he's an idiot who threw away 4000 bucks. But then, the friend allowed himself to be suckered in the first place on the water heater, so it's clear we aren't dealing with geniuses here.
Sad when βas is, no refundsβ. Means nothing. Out here you test it on site, maybe get a agreement of 7 days to check. Otherwise itβs your problem.

Wedding tower story: OP handled that wrong. The moment they stepped in he should have told them to leave and if they didn't he would call the cops. You don't stand around and argue with these types of people.
