  1. I live in a village of about 20 homes, most of which have at least a couple of acres. We don’t do huge amount of stuff with each other, but we do some. I have 5 acres in the back which my neighbour puts grain on. I get grain for my chickens and straw bales, plus get to use his utility tractor whenever I need. It a great deal as it saves me from buying $40,000 worth of tractor and implements for the occasion time I use it. (About the same value as the land). And he keeps saying I am the one getting the poor deal! That’s the way this usually works, both sides gain more than they put in.

  2. It's a confident mam who goes on a firewood job with only one saw.
I'm not really close with most of my neighbors. We are cordial with all but one. He's just a jerk, paranoid, but his wife is quite nice. Your

  3. You're trying to use the axe like a hookaroon. Catch the grain inline. Sink the bit into the log like you're trying to split it. Then grab the handle by the axe head, gives you something to pull on. Been doing that for years. Lots of vids on how to make a hookaroon/pickaroon out of an old axe on YT. Nice score on the wood! God bless.

  4. I’m surprised you have trouble with these kind of people on your channel..? Oh well I like you and like what you are doing. Keep up the good work brother

  5. Amen. The faith ‘of’ Christ. We have faith ‘in’ Christ and rely on the working of the Holy Spirit to give us the faith ‘of’ Christ to endure and bless our persecutors.
I’m in a small village, have many neighbours (some of whom I work with at my job) but don’t share common values with them. So although we get along and are cordial with each other, my faith in Jesus Christ presents a hindrance. They are, however, feeling the struggle in their own lives; the public school system has become so wicked that even they can no longer ignore it, and they carry a burden for their children that they don’t know how to cope with.
It presents an opportunity for me – just yesterday I shared with my neighbour/coworker that I am not trapped by forcing my kids into PS because I can’t afford private; God gives ME the responsibility and authority to teach my children and therefore He will also give me the means to do so. All I have to do is trust in Him through Christ and apply myself diligently, and He will provide. And my neighbour could have that freedom as well if he believed in Jesus as having died for his sins and having rose from the dead.

  6. I was out of breath just watching you, lol. Just finished installing a firepit inside the greenhouse. I had to haul the firewood. I thank God for my tractor and moder tools. God Bless.

  7. Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold for sure! Thanks for sharing – always good stuff! 🤠

  8. Eric, that was a blessing for you. It’s always refreshing to see how Jesus takes care of His kids.
Hopefully you’ll do a video of what you made with those nice beg rounds. I’m sure they’ll make beautiful tables.
My wife and I were both raised on farms so we’re very much aware of rural living and how neighbors help one another.
There’s 9 families who live on our road. Some are too “cityfied” and won’t do anything to help out. Others know about rural living and pitch in to help others.
    We enjoy a simpler lifestyle.
Our closest city (Wenatchee, WA) is a 30 minute drive in the summer, 45 minute drive in the winter. We live 5 miles from our little town.
Anyhow, thanks for sharing how the Lord blessed you !

  9. God Bless Your Inspiring Soul! 🙏🏻 Thank You! I truly believe God put that neighbor in need there knowing your heart & to help you stay fit. 😆

  10. As I like to say when encountering people who are mean "it's a them problem". They'll reap as they sow, so if they choose to be mean, well, they'll get either that in return, or as you correctly point out, they'll get people avoiding them and miss out on all the positivity they could be getting by being polite. Oh, and some nice looking firewood as well.

  11. agreing with everybody would make for a boring world.
dont always agree with you, but respect what you do a lot, and love seeing what you guys are up to !

  12. Eric, glad you're able to barter for goods and services and I agree, it's crucial to be discerning about neighbors/ community. There are often tares among the wheat….

  13. ERIC!!! Small wood chips, dull blade , won't cut straight? Worn bar or loose chain. Never allow saw to touch soil of any kind. Grease bar tip with special grease gun. I wouldn't replace that saw. Just buy new bar and chain if necessary.Love your channel. Thank God there's other Bible Christians
