  1. You are such an inspiring young woman! I so enjoy your videos. So glad you got your garlic in the ground – I’m going to try elephant garlic next year. HINT: you actually have extra garden space in the garlic beds in the holes of your cinder blocks. I’ve planted carrots in mine before. 😊

  2. You are a kindred spirit homemaker & gardener! Some view those to be drudgery and a chore, however I find comfort and joy in them as I can see you do as well.

  3. Hi Becky, New to your channel. Love the content. Can you tell me where you get your aprons from please? I think they are really nice. Good luck with your new little bundle of joy! Thanks

  4. Why not keep the raised beds to plant in and plant the orchard in another area? Raised beds are much better on the back and knees than in ground gardens.

  5. Becky if you freeze yeast it keeps forever. Only pull a little at a times, I really think you would enjoy sourdough. It is alot easier than you think, the fermentation is great for you digestion amd lower glycemic impact and it is perpetual you never have to buy yeast again. I have been making everything sourdough, pasta, cinnamon rolls, sandwich bread, crackers, and boule. So much more, love the channels farmhouse on boone and daily sourdough they gave me the courage to try. Love your channel always inspires me to get moving. You and Josh remind me of my husband and I. He is a drummer too.

  6. All looks yummy. Thanks for the info on your yeast issues.I have so many problems with yeast, I have to buy it fresh the day I'm baking with it.

  7. I mix my sugar, butter and cinnamon together then spread it over the dough. I never have leakage.

  8. Becky u an Josh are boing to be wonderful parents. U two are a very special couple. God bless u an ur family.❤️

  9. Greetings from North Carolina!
    Becky,
Homemade is the best made! For my broccoli cheese soup the family likes it when I add diced ham or crispy bacon. For the cinnamon bread I add raisins and chopped walnuts or pecans. Also, I mix the butter and sugar together and spread it on the dough and then finish with the rest of the ingredients. Never had any running problems. Was your dough warm? Maybe I was just warm enough to melt the butter causing the running. Looked wonderful and we know Josh enjoyed his dinner.

  10. Thanks for another fun video. I used to live in the mountains and had to adjust baking temperatures. Find out your altitude and research cooking temperatures at that height. Hockinson?

  11. It's not fair to describe the homemade biscuit and eat it in front of us. The jelly on top did it for me

  12. My husband doesn't put things back in the right place when he unloads the dishwasher, but I'm just glad he does help occasionally. One trick to keep your yeast working longer is to put it in the refrigerator. I'm not sure why, but it does work. The higher elevation should just affect moisture content. I'd rather have the cinnamon and sugar instead of Nutella.

  13. If it's just a matter of making the soup more visually appealing, a little bit of turmeric would give you that orange color. 😊 And, it's good for you too!

  14. I am absolutely loving 'with child Becky'! I adore how much Grace she has FINALLY allowed herself. ❤❤❤

  15. Becky, I read that yes, yeast is affected by higher elevation. It said 3000-foot elevation. I thought I read it rises faster but collapses on itself. You'll want to read for yourself. Maybe the kitchen wasn't warm enough to rise? I'm glad to see that you're relaxing. Seems like you just announced your pregnancy.

  16. Hi Becky! It may help to increase the humidity in the area you are wanting to proof your bread in. I think plastic wrap does a better job than a towel for holding in moisture, though I understand that you try not to use it as much as you can. I used to work in the Ingles bakery (southern grocery chain) and our proofers were about 80-90% humidity and about 110 degrees. I hope this helps with the rising issue 🙂 Looking forward to future videos!

  17. Becky Thank you for sharing your vlog much appreciated by us all

    Becky?
    Can I ask you?
Would it be possible for you to do your own cook book
I know that I am asking a lot
    What do you think Becky?
    ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  18. Love your videos, always entertaining…. In regards to the onion and garlic powder clumping ups, its mainly because of the vapor/steam from the pot. Use a spoon away from the pot so that it doesnt go into the jar.

  19. We got 4 to 5 inches last night here in southwest lower Michigan. Very beautiful!

  20. I whip the room temperature butter, brown sugar and cinnamon together and spread on the dough before rolling. I find it just less messy when trying to roll my dough up. If I have any butter mixture left over just put it in the refrigerator and it is great on a warm biscuit or even a piece of toast later. ❤️

  21. Can somebody please make a video montage of Becky’s tasting faces? 😂❤️ That would be fun hihi

  22. i need to look up that biscuit recipe, i remember you making it but if it freezes good that is a game changer!
