We Can't Wait Any LONGER! | DIY | Tiny House In The Woods

Hello Everyone! Happy Veterans Day 2022! In todays video, Roxane and myself get to do something new on the property. It’s kind of the same, but new to use. With the cold front approaching fast, we needed to get this project finished asap. Thank you all for being here, we appreciate you!.

  1. Come on guys!! Build those kids a play house of their own. That way they stay out of yours!!! Or better yet, a tree house!!!! They could all help and what an awesome video also……..

  2. the 4 sharp corners of the well house roof are hazardous that any one could bump into them accidentally

  3. This looks really good for now. My dad would always leave the roof unattached to the blocks so it could be removed for repair work. Hopefully it won't need any maintenance for a long time.

  4. Anthony and Roxanne you did a great job on the well house. Thank you Anthony for your service for our Country.

  5. Since the kids like to play in the well house you'll have to make Wyatt a club house maybe even a tree house

  6. Happy Veterans Day Anthony. I am so proud to have you a part of my life. You two are the best couple. Thank you for your service. GG

  7. Haha yah our cats get spoiled with can food they get a little demanding. I love how you two work well together yall some of the most real people I've had the pleasure of meeting

  8. put some small 1/2 by 1 inch strips inside the door to better seal and insulate against the wind.. maybe sone felt or rubber to seal up the door

  9. How are you going to secure the roof down from high winds? That is going to be the key for a secure roof.

  10. I don't know how you can keep cats out of your garden. I wouldn't want them using the garden beds as a litter box. Maybe if they're eating your veggies you could put netting over those beds?

  11. With Roxanne on this project, I expected a window box or two with flowers 🙂 I can see the cats and dogs laying under the shade of the overhang looking like it's their house even though they can't get in!

  12. Neem oil may help with the bug infestation and I believe it's an organic pesticide. You're doing great though, keep up the good work. 👍

  13. We had a well house on the property I grew up on and my dad wired up a light circuit in the house that we could put a 100watt bulb in and we never had it freeze inside the house. He first built a small house like yours but years later we built one tall enough for a standard door and a little bit of storage space for things the well needed. Good job

  14. Hey Anthony, I would like first to say thank you for serving our country. I hear people say Happy Veterans day to me… I don't really think of it like just other holidays. I would prefer a simple "Thank you for serving day". War ain't cool as your most aware and to me a many sad memories of my brothers and sisters who I too served with. I believe that is one nice little well shanty now… I didn't see any thing for the door to shut against and was thinking maybe some one by to just keep any air from going by the door. Also maybe tag off of the electric some way with a rheostat that when it does drop cold enough, a heat lamp would come on to further insure that no pipe or other freeze on you… just a fail safe is what I call it. You guys are still sweating and I on the other hand have a lot of snow on the ground that had to follow many days of minus temps as low as minus eight and a high of five in the middle of the day… a five hours of light day here in Alaska. This stuff ain't melting till spring unless we get a freak jap air current that has been known to happen in dead of winter bringing temps up to as high as fifty plus after being frozen for some time. Not criticizing the work, not at all as its not a place for staying in. Tight enough to keep the rodents out hopefully as this has been a bad year for mice to migrate inside our homes. My kitty has worn herself down killing mice so far. Just a guess but thinking this might be a very cold winter by how high up the bees have built their nests. So enjoy thanksgiving and say a prayer for our beautiful country

  15. You already have power to the well house, so if you wire in a 60w incandescent bulb inside the well house, it should emit just enough heat to keep the internal temperature above 32 degrees, with the insulation you have added.
