  1. Your friends did a wonderful job! I hope your beans grow without water for you. Sabrina is to funny. Hello to you to Luke!

  2. A great video, an amazing job was done on your land. Thank you for seeing Sabrina, and showing us her garden. She works hard. Does well considering she is on her own. Great idea having that light! Autumn then winter here in the UK so no gardening, however I always find something to cut back or tidy up. Got to be in our garden every day if I can, even if it’s just a walk around it. Been so mild that bushes are flowering already, far too soon… Great to save wood from your land, it is very rewarding. We do too when a tree dies or I find a branch that nobody wants. We cut pallets up most of the year as very lucky to get them free. I have a path that gets tons of weeds , so I have decided to weed it then membrane it then stones… just given myself a job…. Love a challenge. My next job is to go through my seed packets and make a list of what I need, thankfully not much I hope… Love planning for the following years vegetables.
I have covered the area the potatoes are going to grow, so the soil is warm when I have chitted them in January…

  3. Well done Whealons – an awesome bit of clearance. It is so nice to see your land giving you even more surprises and as always helping others the way you are assisted yourselves. Missing our Molly hugs and both of you, we will have to hook up sometime and catch up over some homemade hooch. A great bit of advice and so so so many mushrooms everywhere on the land at the moment.

  4. Cordon is the word that I think you’re looking for, you can train fruit trees, horizontal or in a fan shape, she should also think of grafting on to existing trees, using prunings from other peoples trees, or getting them to allow their trees to be donors. Multi fruit trees but they have to be species specific. Xxx

  5. Emma and Alan did a fabulous job at clearing the land, well done, it looks great! – Sabrina has a full bodied joy experience whenever she's happy..lol..so lovely to see 🙂

  6. Sabrina wanted to know what the method of training fruit trees – it is called Espalier. Loved the video and glad that Maggie is ok. Oh …. and YES, I could definitely live that way 🙂 I just need a piece of Portuguese heaven with some lovely rocks on it somewhere too

  7. Sarah!! I I'ove to watch your zest for life and your energy! Your animals will really enjoy your 'magic beans. 😁Sabrina's garden is so pretty! <3 You're so clever in the way you are planning to clear your land and use your wood. I wish you all the best!

  8. You and your guests are lovely people, can we please advise Luke to buy a back brace, yes he needs one and yes nobody likes to wear one, but get one and start wearing one now that it’s not so hot in Portugal, we have experience with back braces in the family and we cannot recommend them enough….

  9. i would never eat wild shroom as i once knew a guy that did . gess what i lived a lt longer than he did , he ate a wild shroom that killed him .
i eat shrooms all the time but only the ones you can buy .

  10. Hi Guys
I think the term Sabrina is looking for regarding the training of fruit trees is "Espalier"
    Here's a link https://youtu.be/Yun3184zro4
I cant believe how spectacular your land truly is as you peel back the decades of overgrowth.
You are truly blessed to be guardians of such a magical slice of the countryside.
    ✨🍄✨

  11. Espaliers are fruit trees grafted onto dwarf root stock that encourage to grow outwards intead of upwards. Good luck 👍

  12. Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you, very good music, very nice episode, you have much more use bull land now, you could make way show arrow s, this rock where you where sitting in front looks like a gorilla, gorilla garden ➡️, just a idea, for when people come to help you,Luke when I look at you you stand bended to the front ( your body)do you have still pain tray bending your Ni's till you stand stread and your shoulders to the back this is much better for your back boon, your vids are Great 👍, soon your digger can help you.

  13. How is Luke doing? Was he recently hospitalized for his back injury? How was he treated. I hope all is better.

  14. Sarah, I think it would help Sabrina to have landscape cloth to line the trenches between the vegetable beds. She could line the trench fill it with the gravel and then fold the landscape cloth over the gravel to keep dirt from filling the spaces between the gravel and the stones won't work into the soil. Let us know if that is available in your bricos and what it would cost if possible. Thanks!

  15. The training of fruit trees to grow horizontally is called espalier. I believe you get more fruit doing this and easier to pick.

  16. Hi guys, great to see your land been cleared and restored. I am currently cleaning up around our Quinta here in Aguas. I have a question regarding the broom does it come back if you cut it to the ground?
I am removing the root systems which takes a lot more time would be interested in your insight on this as you have been clearing the land longer.
    Many thanks Stephen.

  17. You might find a Goose that laid the golden eggs. – WARNING: Beware of the beanstalk highways to the clouds AND Giants.

  18. Good Morning tel Sabrina to watch Cog Hill Farm on Youtube for the fruit trees that grow horizontill so good to learn. Love you channel.

  19. Emma and Alan did an excellent job! It is always such a joy to see Sabrina. Her joy is infectious❤

  20. Great video! Your land is looking awesome 👏🏻 I love your visits with Sabrina, her enthusiasm makes me smile 😊

  21. Good work, job well done 👍🏼 those terraces look amazing. Hope that there’s a whistle in your first aid kit. If you happen to slip and fall you can at least attract attention to where you are 📢

  22. If you could dig a wide cone shaped pit you could also be making biochar for your gardens as you burn off the brush.
